HAWKFROST POV

When I got back to FreeClan I was greeted by the Clan and I was glad that they were happy to see me.

"Hawkfrost" I turn my head and I saw that it was Rika.

"What is it Rika?"

"How did your journey go?" Rika asks.

"Not very well" after I said that I left her and went to my den.

I stayed in my den for a while until I saw Blackfur come to my den.

"You ok?" Blackfur asks.

"Not really"

"What happened?" Blackfur asks.

I then look at him "I had feelings for someone and I asked him to meet me on the 3rd day, but he never showed up and so I guess he didn't feel the same"

"Him, you are in love with a tom," Blackfur says and I nod "I'm sorry to hear that"

"I just want to be alone for a while and so could you please leave"

"Of course," Blackfur says.

After that, he left and I was alone.

When it was night I went to sleep.

ASHFUR POV

When I wake up I heard voices talking.

"Whos there?"

"It's ok Ashfur it's me Tigerstar," Tigerstar says.

"O, ok"

"How do you feel?" Tigerstar asks.

"I feel a little better, but I wish I could see"

"Yes Jayfeather told me and I'm sorry for you losing your site and I wanted to thank you for saving me from that wolf," Tigerstar says.

"You're my leader and I had to do my best to protect the Clan and your welcome Tigerstar"

"I have also asked Jayfeather to help you with your blindness so that you can still live your life," Tigerstar says.

"How will he help me?"

"I will be helping you learn how to see without seeing," Jayfeather says.

"How can you see when you can't see, I don't understand?" I ask being confused.

"Well let me try to explain it a little better" he then got quiet for a second "it's like this since your blind your other senses will enhance and you will use your hearing and sense of smell and you can use those for your eyes, but in other words your hearing and sense of smell will be like your eyes" Jayfeather says.

"O, ok I understand now" I then sit up "when can we start?"

"In a few days, but for now you still need your rest" Tigerstar says.

"Ok"

**time skip**

Today is the day Jayfeather is going to help me and glad he is.

"You ready?" Jayfeather asks.

"Yes," I then stand up.

"Ok good" I then heard him move "follow my voice" I then started walking "no over here" I then turn around "no the other way" I then banged into something "you ok?" Jayfeather asks.

"Yeah, and what did I hit?"

"A wall, but that's ok this is your first try," Jayfeather says "now try again and follow my voice" I then started following him "good keep it up"

As I kept following his voice I could tell that I was getting good at this.

"Very good," Jayfeather says "ready for the next one?"

"Yes, what's the next one?"

"It is now time to test your smell, wait here" I then heard him leave me and so I waited for him and after a few minutes, I heard someone come back.

"Whos there?"

"It's just me Ashfur," Jayfeather says "and I brought someone to help you with your sense of smell"

"Who?"

"Squirrelflight," Jayfeather says and that makes me gasp. "look I know something happened to both of you, but you'll just have to get along" he then sighs "now Ashfur memories her sent and then she will run somewhere and you must find her"

"Of course she runs that's all she's good for," I said getting mad.

"Ashfur," Jayfeather says.

"No it's ok, I deserve that" she then sigh "Ashfur listen I am sorry that I rejected you but I didn't feel the same way as you did for me and I'm sorry that I didn't tell you that sooner" I then put my head down "we use to be friends before this happened and I really am sorry for hurting you like that" Squirrelflight says.

After that talk, she helped me with my sense of smell and I found her where ever she went and I did pretty well.

After that was all over I went back to the medicane den and went to sleep.
