It's been a week since you got your confirmation letter to Hanyang University in Seoul. You couldn't remember how long it had been since you had visited your hometown.
You moved to England when you were a child and grew up there, so getting that acceptance letter for this university was a really exciting opportunity, but also incredibly nerve wracking.
You arrived in Seoul this morning since your first day started tomorrow. Since you hadn't been here in ages, you decided to go sightseeing for the day, even though you were kinda tired because of the flight, nothing could contain the excitement you held.
You had been walking around the city, completely and utterly captivated by the beauty of the surroundings, until a buzzing noise stopped you in your tracks.
Your phone started to ring, and as you grabbed to take it out of your pocket,you noticed the name, smiled immediately, and quickly answered it.
emily; "hey y/n!!! how are you. i miss you so much!! how was your flight? how's seoul??!!!"
"woah woah easy with the questions em. i'm really good, and i miss you too!! my flight was tiring but i went sightseeing and seoul really is just as magnificent as how i remembered it!!" you said, still mesmerized by the scenery in front of you.
emily; "oh my i'm so jealous!! please stay safe and good luck for tomorrow i know for sure you will absolutely love it! you have been waiting so long for this and i assure you, you will feel nothing but happiness once you walk into that university!!"
y/n "i hope so!! i will definitely catch up tomorrow em!! i'll speak to you later!!"
emily; "okay! stay safe! i love you!!"
y/n "i love you too byeeee"
as soon as you ended the call, a bright light flashed in your eyes and pushed you, as you fell face flat on to the floor.
you groaned at the pain that sudden movement caused you to feel and just as you got up, a guy came rushing towards you.
"oh my gosh i'm so so sorry!! are you okay?? did you get hurt??" he said.
you were about to reply when-
'wow he's so fucking beautiful' -you thought.
his hazel glowing eyes looked back at yours. he was ethereal. his facial features were just- he was stunning.
the light on his bike in the distance made his skin look like literal perfection.
these few seconds felt like an eternity.
you finally got out of your trance when he spoke again, with even more concern.
"are you okay?" he said.
"ah yes i'm fine. are you okay though?? you seemed like you hit the floor quite hard." you finally replied.
he immediately responded "yes yes i'm okay, i'm so so sorry i did this to you! i didn't realise you were there, i feel so bad for doing this to such a beauty."
"i.." you couldn't even respond, you were so stunned that no words could escape your mouth.
"did he just call me a beauty
i'm-
why is my heart racing like this?
why can't i speak?" you thought, becoming so lost in your thoughts.
my face instantly turned red as he offered you a hand to get up and you took it. he looked deeply in your eyes again. you could feel your heart fluttering just by the gaze he gave you.
"i sincerely apologise again. if you are hurt please tell me!" he says, with a worrisome look.
"i'm okay, please don't apologise. accidents happen" i respond, with a smile.
"wah you are amazing! i'm sorry again. by the way what's your name if you don't mind me asking" he says cheerfully.
"y/n, you?"
"i'm kim taehyung, nice to meet you. and thank you again for accepting my apology"
"nice to meet you too!"
and with that, you two parted ways. but it didn't leave your thoughts. you were so overwhelmed and dazed by everything that just happened. by him.
"damn i should have gotten his number, ughhhh i miss him already." you say to yourself.
flashback
"i'm kim taehyung nice to meet you"
"kim taehyung huh. kim fucking taehyung. the name itself is godly." you whisper smiling to yourself

while walking through the lit up streets of the illuminated city, you admired the beauty that was in front of you, but noticed it was already 10pm.
"shit shit shit i have my first day tomorrow i need sleep!!" you shrieked, forgetting you were in public, but thankfully no one heard you.
you run to the bus stop and luckily the bus just arrived and so you hopped on.
just for the night, your mum lent you the vacant house that you all used to live in when you were younger. since you would be living in the dorm rooms at university, you didn't need a house, so this was perfect just for today.
you unlocked the door and took a step inside and sighed.
"wow, it's just how i remember" you smiled.
