chapter 4; what's the point in candy if you can't eat it?

Fionas pov: 

 i studied the photo once more they do look human, perhaps their shape shifters? my mind raced over a thousand different possibilities but none seemed to fit. I side walked not taking my eyes off the photos on the wall, most where of a young girl and who seemed to be her mother. the girl looked generally happy but the mother looked like she was faking a smile for the girl. the photos showed both getting older and farther apart. i came across one where the girl looked about my age and both her and the mother looked like they where faking for the sake of a good photo.

the photos came to an end. i slowly creeped down the small stair case. trying not to alert whoever house this is. i gripped the necklace Marshall had given me, a blood red Crystal. i'm not one for jewelry it bugs me and i find it useless. but this is different, this turns into a sword! i remember when Marshall gave it too me. 

i was siting on Marshall's floor complaining how Gumball had given me yet another piece of candy jewelry and how Cake won't let me eat it. he sat listing to my rant. i was going on about how i would rather eat it then stick it in some box with a thousand others that i'm never gonna use. Marshall lee got up and walked out of the room no explanation nothing. i thought he just went to the bathroom or something. but to my surprise Marshall came back with a small wooden box black in colour. he placed it  in my lap. i looked up at him in confusion then l looked back at the box. i slowly opened it. a small red crystal sat there on a fine black chain. had Marshall not been listing to a word i had just said? seeing my confusion Marshall floated over to where i was sitting on cold hard floor but it was better than breaking my butt on his couch. "Marshall what the gunk is this?" "i know you don't like jewelry." so he had been listening. "but this unlike that junk Gumwadd gives you this actually does something useful." i gave him a oh really look. he placed the necklace in my hands. as soon as the cold crystal came in contact with my human flesh. it quickly transformed into a beautiful red and black sword. 

i smiled at the memory. Marshall had always found a way to make me smile.

okay i'm really sorry this is so late. i've had loads to do lately. i'll try to update sooner. and i'm really sorry again.
