*Flashback*
I watched her go in to the testing building. I never saw her come out. My sister Sam is two years older than me. When her testing came, she was confident. Sam is good at pretty much everything she tries, so we didn't worry as much as we should have about her. I guess even she couldn't handle the test. I have no idea what the test is like. Adults are forbidden to speak of it. The adults that return that is.
*End of flashback*
"Alice Green?" my name is called, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Your test partner will be Simon Thomas" This is it. I look at the other students sitting in anticipation. I might never see them again. Simon and I glance at each other and step in. The door slams behind us.
