Spencer's pov: I woke up to my mom screaming my name, it was the last day of school until christmas break. It would be the first christmas without my dad and things were horrible. My mom was brining home new guys everynight. I knew not to get attached bc they weren't staying they were just hookups.
Alex's pov: I woke up and got ready texting spencer to make sure she was okay bc i knew today was the last day of school until christmas and things weren't going too well for her and her family.
Spencer's pov: I texted alex back took a shower and then got dressed and dried my hair then left the house and walked to school. Everything was horrible everyone knew about my dad and only wanted to talk to me bc they felt bad for me. I pulled my shirt sleeves down to cover my scars i've only been clean for 2 days ever since my dad left this world things have got worse. I was failing school and of course i was still being bullied. I called my mom and she came and checked me out because i just couldn't take school anymore knowing my dad my best friend my everything passed away.
Spencer's moms pov: I picked up spencer she got in the car didn't say much and wiped her tears away. I knew that she was trying to hide it from me that she was crying but I knew. I know me and her aren't on the best terms but i still love her a lot. We pulled up at the house and she ran up to her room, but i walked to the kitchen to make lunch.
Spencer's pov: I ran to my room as soon as we got home. I grabbed the teddy bear my dad gave me for valentine's day with the ring. I layed every picture me and him had together across my bed and cried all i could do is cry and hug the bear which was the only thing i had left. I started to think that i need to be more greatful for what i had because I could lose it when i least expect it. I ran downstairs and gave my mom the biggest hug then we ate lunch. My mom got a phone call and left the table. I was very curious who it was and i waited for her to come back.
