Hiiiyah hows it hanging???? Okay I'm sorry if the second chapter was short but I'm writing the stories on my touch notes-_- so please enjoy!!!!

(3 weeks after Freddie wrote) The letter popped through the letter box, I recognised the colour of the envelope and snatched I before Tara my little sister did, "mum" she moaned "Claudia won't let me see her letter!" she ran into the kitchen, "but its her letter" I heard mum say, I walked upstairs to my bedroom and opened the letter and began reading it, the words made my eyes water as I read it but held them back, I promised I wouldn't cry for my father and Freddie, I heard a someone shout shout out side and I carefully looked out the window to make sure i wasn't some german soldier playing trick us, but outside stood a young man with dark hair and a muddy uniform and the smile that could make buildings fall, "Freddie!" I yelled with glee and ran down the stairs and opened the door, I stopped to make sure the german soldiers weren't there. When I couldn't see anything I ran and jumped up on him to give him a hug of a lifetime.

I yelled her name as I stood outside her house, I saw some curtains upstairs move and saw the girl if my dreams appears in the window, the smile that could melt your heart by one look and the only thing I could do was to smile back. She disappeared and I could her her yell my name, she push the door open but looked around, after a few seconds she ran down her porch and jumped on me with such a force I had to take step back. "you're home! She mumbled into my shoulder, "yes I am" I replied back hugging her as she hugged me back. Her mum was stood in the door an I let go of Claudia, "hello mrs. Grace" I said in a polite voice, I could see Claudias face turn a light red colour. "hello Fred, how are you?" mrs Grace asked with a smile, "I'm good mrs Grace, how are you? "I'm good thank you and please call me Sarah" Sarah begged i could only return a smile, "so you and Claudia are quite close huh" her mum asked embarrassed looking at her shoes, "mum!" Claudia moaned at her mum, "go and bake some cookies" Claudia said, her mum only laughed and walked back into the house, "I am so sorry about that" she apologised looking me straight into the eyes, "well at least it wasn't my mum" I said looking towards my house, "let's go and see your family" Claudia said dragging me towards my house.

When we got there the curtains were closed and you couldn't see any movement. I knocked on the door, no answer, I knocked a second time, "mum? Its me freddie" I said, nothing happened, I knocked the third time, the curtains from where the dining room was meant to be moved. "mum I know your in there" I said blowing my fringe out of the way of my eyes, the door clicked open half way before it shut and opened again. My mum stood in front of me eyeing me then Claudia. "Freddie!" I heard my little sister laugh from top of the stairs, my mum loosened up and seemed more relaxed, she gestured for me and Claudia to come in and closed the door and locked it.

My mum and Claudia got along well and they talked about everything an ha a lot on common, Lilly couldn't stop hugging my arm and kept telling her self this was a dream, after two hours the phone rang, "hello?" my mum answered, her face went pale, something was wrong, she put the phone down and walked towards my fathers chair. "mum are you alright?" I asked as I watch her face turn back to almost a normal colour, "your father" she began crying both me and Claudia stood up at the same time but Claudia got over there before me, "what's wrong?" she asked in a soothing voice stroking my mums hair, "my husband is...is... Is missing" my mum began crying again, "shh, it's going to be alright" my mum gave her a hug and I joined in. I look at the clock, "I have to go" I sighed and stood up, m mum started to cry again, "mum don't cry, be happy and keep faith!" I said as i walked over to Lilly who wasn't paying much attention "be good to mum alright?" I said as I hugged Lilly for the last time before i had to go back to France. Claudia stood up slowly holding my mums hand, "it was a pleasure to meet you" Claudia said, "and I am sorry" she let go of my mums hand and we walked to the door. "bye" we said at the same time and walked out the door.

I walked Claudia to her door, "I hate this" she said to herself, "I hate the war!" I hugged her as I saw she was about to cry, "don't cry" I whispered, "big girls don't cry" she mumbled into my chest, "of course not" I muttered and stroked her hair taking in her smell of a thousand roses. She withdrew from my hug and looked into my eyes, she went on her tip toes to level with me. Claudia looked deep into my eyes before she kissed me.

I stood on m tip toes as I levelled with his eyes, I looked deep into them, searching for the reason why there was war, but did find an answer. I lent forwards to kiss him, he resisted at first but relaxed after a second. He broke the kiss mumbling something about him have to go back but I ignored it. "good bye miss Claudia" Freddie teased an bowed and kissed my hand, I giggled, "be careful" I said and reached for the door knob, he grabbed my shoulder and spun me around he kissed me one quick last time before he turned around and walked down the steps and down the short front garden, "bye" he said one last time and walked down the street and turned left, "bye" I whispered opening the door and walked trough.
