"And just so you all know... I would never want to marry someone like him."

Those words stuck in her mind for a while. Even after she learned that they would never meet again. It still was stamped in her brain for some reason. (Y/N) realized that she was truly being a bit harsh, but it had to be done. He was her first "friend" and yet, she hurt his poor feelings. 'Maybe he forgot about it already.' Her pencil twirled around her fingers. 'Or he also had those words imprinted in his head.'  She bit the eraser. The small smile that graced her lips grew wider the more she thought about it. It had been years since they last saw each other. Their fathers let them see each other from time to time before completely cutting off their relationship. It made her feel even more empty then she already was. (Y/N) reclined back in her chair and pondered on that thought. What if they weren't separated? Maybe they would still have a close relationship. They might even still be friends. Or maybe even more than th-

"-/N). Hey (Y/N)! Are you not listening to me anymore?"

The (H/C) haired girl snapped out of her daze and glanced at the female inventor. Her salmon haired friend pouted slightly before grinning in success. "Finally! You missed my spiel about Baby Number 16!! Wanna test it out?" The golden eyed female sparkled in excitement. (Y/N) kindly rejected her before letting Power Loader know she was heading out. The door skidded open and she shut it on her way out. She smiled brightly at the few students rushing to beat the bell and continued forth. (Y/N) often took breaks like these to keep her mind off of what was troubling her. Luckily, she took a recess at the right time.  All the students were in class so she could have the vending machine all to herself. The coins slid into the slot and she picked out her refreshing beverage. As it was being dispensed, her eyes scanned her surroundings. The window was open letting a light breeze blow through. Birds were littering the lush trees, chirping away. Suddenly, the wind picked up and spooked them away. It took them a bit before they all gathered once again in that leafy tree. (Y/N) chuckled and grabbed her soda, popping the lid. Her mouth brushed against the lip of the can before the cool liquid seeped down her throat. She took small gulps before setting it down on the bench next to her. The atmosphere was quite lovely, so she decided to sit for a while.

With the can in hand, she leaned on the wall to support her back. She let a heavy sigh escape her lips before sipping on the drink again. Today wasn't that stressful, but (Y/N) was relieved to have taken a break. As long as their work got done, the support students were allowed to take as many breaks as possible. She was glad to just sit and listen to the singing birds and the feel the wind graze her exposed skin. The day was still young and yet, it felt as if it was almost over. Everything seemed to go by faster when she worked on improving support items and sipping on soda. She can barely even remember the first day here at UA. That was the day she had first met her sensei, Power Loader. It was also the first day she had met Mei. Mei had become her second friend ever. Even though the salmon haired girl didn't have a good first impression, they both bonded over the experience. (Y/N)'s head tilted back and touched the wall. She could make out the faint voice of a teacher lecturing their students. To think, she only wanted to go to Yuuie to become a hero but was instead thrown in the support department. Kinda sad really. Her mother was the cause of it. Holding her back from even trying the mock exam. Yes, it stung, but she was able to apply for the support program and actually got in. It surprised her family, but she had a feeling that she would make it. In private, she would tinker with her electronics and invent some pretty neat devices. (Y/N) knew that if she showed her mother, the chances of her becoming a hero would poof out of existence. 'Well if I did own Mother's company, then Father would probably disapprove anyway.' She stood up and threw away the empty can. 'He even trained me since I was little to become the next best hero.' (Y/N)'s legs carried her back to the workroom and her thoughts drowned everything out. 'Well... They'll have to deal with my decision either way.'
