Chapter 5

(Noah's POV)

I watched as Nathan talked with the girl. I completely forgot that Kelly was next to me trying to talk to me. "Hey, are ya' there or nah?" She said waving her hand in front of my face. "Oh uh, what?" I asked her shaking my head to try and focus. "You really do like him huh?" She smirked and started to get up. "Don't you dare," I said sternly. She just smiled and started running toward him. I jumped off the couch and chased after her. Luckily I was pretty fast for a small person. I jumped in front of her and grabbed her shoulders. "I said. No." I had a deathly glare on my face and she had fear growing in her eyes. She nodded and just started walking back to the couch.

"Sorry. I wa' just fooling around."

"It's fine. Just listen to me when I say no next time okay?" She nodded her head and we went back to the small conversation we were having before. Eventually it was lunch time and I walked back to the locker rooms to grab my water bottle that I kept in my locker. I opened the locker and went to grab my water bottle only for the door to be slammed shut. I huffed and turned around to see Nathan all up in my face. "So....you really want to get slapped huh."

"Try me," I smirked as he looked me in the eyes. I slapped his cheek hard enough that you could hear it. He stood up straight and held onto his cheek. "I didnt think you would actually smack me, dick." I chuckled, "you said 'try me' so I did." He mocked me and then went to his locker to grab money I'm guessing so he can get what he got yesterday for lunch, pizza.

"Do ya' have lunch?" He asked me as I grabbed my water bottle. I shook my head, "nope, I'm broke at the moment." He chucklee and waved for me to follow him. "Pizza?"

"Yeah." We walked out of the locker room and to the snack/food/drink shack. "Small pepperoni pizza please." He told the clerk. He nodded and took his money grabbing the fresh box of pizza. "Thanks." We walked up a short stairwell and on top of the loft, there was a mattress and a few blankets. "Mi casa, su casa." He slumped down on the matress and I followed his lead laying down. He opened the box and handed me a piece. I smiled and nodded my head in a thankful way. I took off the pieces of pepperoni and he stared at me shocked.

"What? I dont like pepperoni." He gasped dramatically, "you could have told me that and I would have gotten a cheese pizza instead!" I blushed and handed him the pieces of pepperoni, "you want it?" He took them from my hand and dropped them in his mouth. "So what's your power?" I asked him. He shrugged his shoulders. "Dont know yet. Don't even know if I have one...you?" He took a bite of his pizza. "I can't feel certain amounts of pain and I'm immortal." He nodded his head, "so you got a-list powers. Cool." I shrugged my shoulders, "I guess you could put it that way, ya."

We just continued talking and asking questions about each other until Kelly came to find us. "Do you want the rest of that piece of pizza?" Nathan asked pointing to my half eaten 3rd piece of pizza. Shaking my head I handed to him, his face lit up as he devoured it. I shook my head laughing slightly. We walked our way back to the main room. He slapped my ass and ran ahead of me. "Bitch!" I yelled at him and he just started laughing. The blonde girl went up to him and started flirting right away. I watched her touch him practically everywhere on his body and he enjoyed every bit of it. I growled at them silently and then turned around to see Simon standing there.

"Woah, didn't know you were there Si." He smiled softly and then he started speaking, but soon to be interrupted by the loud giggle of the blonde chick and Nathan running by us. We looked at Nathan running away holding her hand. He waved back at us smiling widely.  "We should probably let them shag in peace." I stated glaring at the spot they just were. Simon nodded his head rapidly and then went on to ask what he was going to go before.

"How do you ask a girl out?" I smiled widely at his innocence. "Awww, you're adorable," he blushed slightly at the compliment. "Just ask her fer a drink at tha' pub." He nodded and said a quick thank you before running away go do whatever he does.
