Change is people occurs due to various reasons but it always occurs in a pattern and fun fact is that there is no shortcut to make a change in someone or about something. First step that occurs in change is that the pre-existing activity needs to be checked or seen thoroughly because necessity for change occurs when there is some error occuring in present system. Second step is when you choose a way to act upon. There are two ways basically. One is the way of influence or interest where you change your method because you are deeply touched by other way of doing that activity or you find some interesting method to do such activity. This choice always changes rapidly and with fun and opportunities. Because it absorbs you in it. Second one is by force and no involvement. Here actually you spend lots of energy because you are unwilling to change but you need to change, basically you are stepping out of your comfort zone here. You might be wondering why Ed is telling us this philosophy when we know it back in our heads? Let me make it a bit more interesting.
Beck actually got us connected on social media on the day we met. Now the fun fact was that it seemed as if someone was entering my life on purpose. It seemed a little hasty. It never happened to me back in my school days but it was so quick that I outs-honed myself. Yeah, like every normal guy, in search of instant attention and fame I got her into the bottle. It was easy to apply butter. Teenage always has its flaws, chemistry if underestimated can cause a really big havoc in your mind and body. Speaking of chemistry, a simple circuit which seems too difficult for most of the people is so simple. Let's understand it to get into the next part of the story. When you do activity or think of something which makes you happy in the beginning, it is as simple as release of endorphin in your brain and it demands for more and more which in-turn makes us to do that activity repetitively. This is how we form tiny addictions of attention and be loved. These are unnoticeable but yet they always are primitive reasons for most of the wrong things happening in and around us.
Beck had come out of a serious issue in her life. She faced severe actions in her relationship and which made its end in Police Station lodging a complaint and this eventually caught a hold in Becks mind. Beck had this sense of fulfillment yet she lacked emotions from others, it made her weak at times. Every time you get weak, you go to a strong person in your perspective and so did Beck. She called me to share her problem, it confirmed that my first impression was successful. It was both a winning and a fearful moment. I had a problem waiting ahead yet I successfully faked my own personality. "Ed, listen I don't know what's this feeling and why is it occupying my mind, I feel bad for tiny things which I never bothered in my whole life and why does it feel so touchy. I have become sensitive." told Beck while being stuck by the answer which was quite big and yet a good move by me, "Becky, see your history is what I have known but in brief which decreases my chances of solving the problem to max percent. I don't know your character in depth so I can't pass on my solutions. But let me tell you one thing, I can support you mentally. When you feel touchy go, help the person who is hurt and maybe you will be more peaceful than ever. That's all I can say. There are so many aspects to it so I just wish you don't get too touchy if you act." Breaking the silence which was created for a couple of seconds, she told Okay then let's see if it works. Thank you for the support. I know it will help and that would create a stability.
Back end, it was always so painful to turn from authentic being to a person who fakes because he is alone. I totally regretted my actions. The city had taken toll over me. I had become a rock hearted person. I saw phenomenal decrease in my original behavior and the behavior I had occupied to be a rebel in this city. This was an idea which my teacher taught me when I was in grade 4. We had a poem which told why rebels are rebels. That time I picked up that idea by excluding the boundaries of right and wrong and got that deep into me. Beck was just a part. Until a girl called Rebecca (Rebe) came to picture. She was a person with a year superiority and a senior at the firm where I did my intern. Yeah to make some amount I actually did internships. I used to work with a firm which concentrated on improving the quality of life of people by reaching out to them in all possible ways. This actually made me think of my real so called Authentic self.
Rebe was a boon. It was like The Secret movie showing it's demo to me. It was hard for me in my mentally framed boundaries about myself to speak to anyone until necessity came into picture. Yes, Rebe was also supposed to have such entry but again life put a speed breaker and put me in trouble with my work when I was doing preparation for event at our firm. Yes this time it was me who asked out for help. It was abashing but work took the toll over my attitude. When we turn back and see all these moments it really seems foolish but yet a sense of satisfaction pops out for trying our best at that time. Rebe had this power to fill any person with a happy emotion and overflow them with a sense of energy to do something good to the world. This flare captured me. Yeah, it is a point to be accepted that we actually are hungry for attention, energy and happiness. Now at work, Rebe gave me tips to get a better position in my department and she also did give me advice of life.
She had a simple basis to everything. She believed, once you take up a work, finish it by applying all of the energy you have into completing it with utmost perfection you can and never get trapped into comparison which would actually damage your mind in long run.
