As Ichigo blocks Byakuya's sword with his longer Zanryuga, the black-haired head of the Kuchiki clan was struggling to overpower the blade with Ichigo showing no struggles. The black-haired half-blood brother of Rukia narrows his eyes at Byakuya.

"Why."

Confused, Ichigo look serious but a hint of curiosity was wearing his face.

"Why are you continually trying to save Rukia?"

Ichigo scowled.

"Then let me ask, you're Rukia's adoptive big brother, right? Why don't you save Rukia? Instead, her little brother was the one who took the honors of saving her." Ichigo growled.

Byakuya is what he hates the most right now. As an older brother, thier responsibilities is to watch and protect their little sister. And in fact, this so-called "Nii-sama" that Rukia greatly fond of, didn't even bother of sparing her a smile of sadness or pity.

Instead, he, the most youngest, has to take the responsibility of saving Rukia instead of "their" big brother.

That, he was beyond the word "furious".

"I understand the meaning of a big brother! Why couldn't you?! Why didn't you save Rukia?! Huh, Byakuya?! I'M BOTH CONFUSED AND FURIOUS WHY YOU DIDN'T SAVE RUKIA!!" Ichigo pushed Byakuya away, and grabs his trench knife out of his waist, spinning them around and his eyes briefly flashed bright blue.

"That, too, is a meaningless question for me to answer. There is only one path for me to take now. Kurotaiyo Ichigo, even though you might be my supposed little brother, I will kill you. And Rukia will go through the execution again, this time by my own hand." Byakuya said, angering Ichigo even more but keep his self-cool together, tossing the cloak away and points his khyber knife.

"I won't let you. I'll defeat anyone who dares to cross my path of saving Rukia. Ant that includes you, too, Nii-sama." Ichigo says with sarcasms when he said "sama", Byakuya simply narrowed his eyes.

They begin the battle.

"Let me go! Let me go! Please let me go, Renji! Ichigo... I... No, we must save Ichigo!"

Renji look frustratedly at his best friend, many veins popping from the anger he was feeling. "Ah geezers of hell, you really talk too much! Don't be so goddamn noisy while we're escaping! What are going to do if we get caught?! And stop hitting me, you son of a bi- ARGH!" A fist collided with his face, as Rukia got out of his grasp and began running back to the Soukyoku Hill.

"Ichigo!"

"Stop it, Rukia! You can't!"

Rukia turn at her childhood friend in anger and panic. "Don't you dare stop me from going to my little brother, Renji! Ichigo needs me! He doesn't deserve to be in this kind of situation!" Rukia tried to run back but Renji suddenly picks her up again, and run away.

"Let me go right this instance, you fool!"

"Ichigo... He said he wanted to return the favor. He said you changed his life, like you give him a better life unlike his fake life of not having a real name and being live with lies. You... He said you were the most important person he ever knew in his whole life. You gave him powers, and he used that to protect everyone he cares, his friends, his family, his love ones - you. When he heard you were blaming yourself too much of making his life a living hell instead of letting him find happiness, his love for you was so strong... He cut his skin and spill blood to get Bankai, all for you."
