Chapter 7

"What if she don't like me" Liam said as we walked.

"So what, I like you and your my bestfriend" I laughed.

He laughed as we stood outside my sisters door, we decided to walk as It wasn't that far and it wasn't raining but it was cold.

"I don't want to go in" he said laughing.

"Maybe I'll just go back home" he said.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the front door, I knocked and my sister answered and smiled. She hugged me an then looked at me and Liam.

"Boy friend?" She asked.

"No" I said

"Why you holding hands then" she asked.

I looked at Liam and then down at our hands. We let go and smiled,

"Hi, I'm Liam" he said.

"Hello Liam" my sister said.

"You two standing at the door, come in."

"Aunty Megan!" Jason ran up to me. I picked him up and hugged him.

"Hello baby boy" I said hugging him.

"Who's that" he asked.

"That's Liam, my best friend" I said

"Hello Liam, I'm Jason"

Liam looked at me and then looked down at Jason.

"Hallo Jason, happy birthday little fella, here you go" Liam took something out of his jacket pocket an handed it to Jason.

"This is cool! Thank you!" Jason said hugging Liam. It took Liam a bit to process but he finally hugged him back.

I was shocked, I didn't even realise Liam brought something for him.

"Here's the cake" I whispered to my sister,she mouthed a thankyou and then walked into the kitchen.

"Thanks" I said walking up to Liam.

"It was nothing? Just some action figgers and you know, it made the little guys day" he said. I hugged him and he hugged me back.

"And I was hoping for a hug so you know, I win" Liam said snuggling his head into my shoulder holding me tighter around my waist

"Thanks for coming"i said disconnecting the hug and taking my phone out.

I needed to invite more people and someone Liam won't feel uncomfortable near. I dialled my brothers number hoping he would come but he didn't answer.

"Liam" Jason said.

"Yeah little fella" Liam said.

"Can you please play with me" he asked.

"Sure little guy" Liam picked him up and Jason showed him where to go.

I sat down on the couch and my sister sat with me.

"How handsome" she said nudging me.

"He's my bestfriend," I laughed,

"And you like him right?" She asked.

"No, I mean yes because I love him as my bestfriend" I said.

"I didn't say anything about loving him" she laughed.

"Well I don't love him"I said looking at him with Jason, I smiled as Jason attaked him and he pretended to be hurt.

"Your smile doesn't say that meg" she said.I smiled to the ground as I realised that I did like Liam.
