You were frozen in place, fear coursing through your little toon body.
Alice knew who you were.
Well, she knew what toon you had turned into. Whether or not she knew that you had been Wendy's voice actor was still up for debate. Either way, you couldn't come up with any scenario where this was a good thing. Once Henry killed that member of the butcher gang, he noticed a panel on the wall and pulled it open, pulling out the gear that was inside. Was that what Alice wanted. He grabbed your arm gently and pulled you along, back up the stairs. "Ignore her, (Y/N)...one down. We only need to find three more." You nodded, trying to calm your racing heart, and began to look around, stepping cautiously into the room filled with clocks and plushies while Henry checked another panel on the wall. You could hear him comment on it being empty.
You walked through the shelves, clutching your pipe tightly. Ink was everywhere, and any monster, or Bendy, could jump out at any moment. This happened just as you found a panel in the back of the room and opened it to reveal another gear. You heard the groaning of an ink monster lurching out of the puddle closest to you. You choked back a scream, remembering Alice's words, and spun around, swinging your weapon at the monster. This killed it, again assuming they could die, and you climbed the toy shelf, finding yourself too short to reach on your own, and grabbed the gear. "I-I've got it!" You called to Henry as he walked into the room. He noticed a panel on the other side of the room, but found it to be empty. As you left, another member of the butcher gang cams running at you. This one with his mouth sewn shut, but a second one at the top of his head, opening and closing. It almost reminded you of those prank toys, the chattering teeth. You planned to get this dealt with quickly, trying to ignore that these new enemies had eyes, had faces. We're they like Bendy? Were they sentient?
You got an andwer to this much sooner than you expected, and hoped, when you swung your pipe. The member stepped back and you only managed to hit his mouth.
Tearing the stitches off.
He staggered back in surprise Now, his good hands lifting to his mouth that Now bled ink. The human like eye fused onto his head rising to look at you, then back down to his mouth.
"Y...u ....ot Th.... ...ff."
Oh jesus trims your hedges Christ. He TALKS. Much like Bendy, it sounded as though he was gargling ink or something, and his words broke off, making him hard to understand, but he TALKED. "Wha...what?" You squeaked out, backing into Henry, who placed a protective hand on your shoulder. The butcher opened and closed his mouth, making soft sounds as if testing it out, before repeating, "You took them off..."
"Damn..." You heard Henry mutter in awe. You were filled horror. Were ALL of them alive?! The butcher looked at Henry, then at you, and said, "....Pl..as...please don't hu...t hurt me. I'm sorry..." Shit shit shit. How were you supposed to deal with this? "My name is Ed..e... Striker." "Erm...hello there...Striker." Henry said, awkwardness clear in his voice. "Can you...tell us why you were attacking us?" "And are they all like you?" You blurted out. "...a-able to talk, I mean..." Butcher..er...Striker, pressed his large lips together and thought. "You're...you scared me. And..I don't ..hin.. think so? They don't a..t act like me. Or, rather...I don't act like them.."
oh, that was a relief.
"There are a few ot..er... others like me, but I haven't s.....n seen them lately."
You thought back to the member of the gang you saw Alice electrocuting. Oh god, you hoped not...
Henry sighed. "....If you're...well, more 'alive' in a sense, then perhaps it's safer you come with us? But we still need to find those gears...so..if you want to, follow us, but if not, I kindly ask you stay out of our way." Henry then pushed you around Stricker, and you headed uneasily down the hall. Stricker didn't exactly go 'with' you, but he followed you, almost like s curious child. You scrunched up your face and shook your head, not wanting to think of him like a child at all. Another gear. One more left. Turning the corner, you found yourself back in the ink flooded room where you had come across Joey's recorder, and Bendy. You held your breath the entire time you trudged through. The ink went up to your shoulders. You shivered. It felt slimy and cold and awful. Why was this ink any different from the one that had made you a toon? Was it that the other ink had seem to come directly from Bendy? As soon as you managed to get out of the room Stricker called that there were no boxes past that point that he knew of. You groaned and went back through the ink, back through the toy and clock room, and back through the many, many flights of stairs.
At least he was trying to help. You weren't sure why, but hey, it was better than him trying to attack you.
you went all the way down, almost back to the floor where Alice waited, and found the final gear near a Bendy statue. Why did these things even exist?
"Ah, That should be plenty."
Alice's sudden voice made you jump. Was she just...watching you guys? That may be even creepier than the statues.
"Return them to me." And she added, in a pleasant tone, "And try not to die on the way back."
Fine.
Bitch.

Sorry this took so long! We're moving to a new apartment and I just got approved for this job I've been trying months to get. Like I got told all this right after I made the post about the update bomb.
Hopefully I'll be able to post a few more updates tonight and tomorrow. The semester is almost over, and I'm taking the summer off to settle into the new apartment and job. My work gives me 3-4 daysoff everyweek, so hopefully I won't be as busy as I have been.
I hope you all liked the new chapter!
