Bakugou's visit to the Art Club was already surprising enough but hearing him compliment your painting made your cheeks burn. Never had you seen Bakugou's face in pure shock like that. Again, it was still like him to not leave out all his curses and name callings but you put that aside. You were to focused on the look plastered on his face to even snap at him for calling you names. If you weren't so flustered, you would've attempted to throw a punch at him. Bakugou's words didn't hold his usual bite, instead, they were of pure shock and admiration. Both of you stared at each other for a few moments until you gathered the courage to talk to him.
"Y-Yes, I did. Why?" you managed to stutter out.
Your voice reeled Bakugou back into reality. When he had queried you about whether it was you who drew that painting, he was already looking at you. However, when you realized how you were looking at him with expectant eyes, his whole body jerked back slightly and you could hear the faint hiss he emitted. Bakugou immediately tore his gaze away from you, hiding his expression from you. You could faintly hear the male utter something under his breath. Your eyes widened when you managed to read his lips. Even though you have heard praises from some of your friends and the people from the club, you found Bakugou's praise the most pleasant in your ears. The male didn't even say anything back to you. Instead, he brushed past you and stormed towards the exit of the art club's room. Both you and the president watched as the male walked away, shutting the door behind him in a less rough manner. It was done so that he wouldn't attract any attention.
It seemed like the president heard what Bakugou uttered, since she was far closer to him than you were. The president watched you carefully. Your eyes were glimmering and she could see how happy you were to hear the male praise your work. A small smile blossomed on the older girl's lips as she watch the corner of your lips form a nervous smile. She then turned her attention towards your painting that was on the easel. When you heard the president's footsteps, you turned to see her admiring your drawing as well.
"A praise from someone you like is always something special isn't it?" she looked over to see you watching her. You let out a small huff of pride as the female walked back, standing right next to you. Once you realized what she had said, you turned to her with red dusting your cheeks.
"You've got it wrong, senpai! I don't like him at all! Who would like someone as foul-mouthed as that hedgehog?"
"Oh so, you don't like him? Then, you hate him?" your senpai raised an eyebrow at your sudden exclamation.
"Well.....um, I don't actually dislike him enough to hate him but I don't exactly like him either. You understand right, senpai? It's kind of.....in between those feelings?" you tilted your head slightly. The older female hummed and nodded, understanding your statement.
"Hm, that kind of relationship, huh? You can't really hate him for long, [Last Name]. If you fight hatred with hatred, that's no good. Well, it always starts out like that, [Last Name]. Eventually, you'll come in terms with your own feelings. And when that time comes, you'll have to figure out yourself." your senpai smiled to herself before walking away. You felt a light bulb inside your head go off when you heard her words.
"So, what do you think I should do, president?" you asked. The female looked a little bit troubled at the expectant look you gave her. She shrugged.
