"Happy birthday baby." I cooed to my daughter as I held her in the air.
"Damn these shits is heavy." King moaned as he walked into our room with a bag in his hand.
"What Is all that?" I asked out of curiosity as I got up off the bed with Alaiya in my arms.
"Happy birthday Princess." He sang ignoring my question and taking Alaiya out my arms.
Since he didnt answer me I took it up on myself to see what they was.
"King!" I said in shock "Whos are all these for?" The bag was full of shoe boxes.
"I got one for you and the rest are for Princess." He said as he kissed her cheek.
"She dont need all those shoes , shes only 1." I said as I stood up.
"You right." He said ... "she needs more." He added causing me too roll my eyes. "Lets go open up your birthday gifts." He cooed too her and made his way downstairs to where all her gifts was set up.
He put her down on the floor and I watched how her little feet tumbled along the floor.
"Whats that Lay?" I cooed as I watched her run towards her toy car...

"Matching Daddy." King spoke.
"Ma ma ma ma." She said excitedly as she tapped on the car whilst her big eyes was planted on us.
"You want to be let in baby?" I asked as I put her in the car. This is the type off car the parents control with a remote since she is too young to do it herself.
"Look Lay , more gifts." I said catching her attention. I picked up a few off her gift bags and opened them up.
"Loads of gifts Lay , youve been spoilt." I spoke to her once we finished opening up the gifts.
She sat in the middle off the bags and clapped her hands "MaMa." Is all she said.
"Happy birthday Princess." King cooed too her again as he picked her up off the floor.
"What times everyone coming?" I asked him as I cleaned up all the mess.
"Around 1." He replied.
Today we are throwing Alaiya a party at our house. Were also doing a bbq. My grandma and Grandad flew down here from Texas ... Kings family are going to be there too and the usual ofcourse ... Maurice , Tray , Omari , Kiy and Tamia ... and Latrell. Him and King have really grew tight over these months. Theres also other people coming ... so today will be busy.
"You or me getting her ready? We havent got long." King asked.
"You , im gon start decorating." I told him as I started to clean up the kitchen.
