Chapter 30

"King you literally walked right past it." I told him , he walked past Alaiya's teddy , the only teddy that helps her stop crying because at this point I couldnt stop her and neither could King. Shes now 10 months old , she crawls and she makes so much noise , most of the time shes a bundle off joy but today shes nothing but trouble.

King is so drained. We have both been up since 6:00 in the morning because Alaiya wouldnt stop crying , it is now 10 to 12 and she still wont settle.

You can see in his eyes he is tired , hear in his voice he is drained , he needs rest... a lot of it.

"Whats wrong with her K?" He panicked.

"I dont know..." i told him honestly.

Ace began to bark which automatically pushed King off the edge "ay stop all that ." He yelled to Ace catching me off guard.

A barking dog ... a crying baby , an angry dad.

"Whats wrong mamas?" I cooed to Alaiya as I bounced her on my lap.

I was trying to stay calm , but her continuous cries was starting to worry me. I have offered her milk , she dont want it. Took her outside , it never helped , gave her food , it dont help , done literally everything and she is still crying.

I could see that King was worried so I forced myself to stay calm , so I could hold , not just me , but him together.

I stood up and walked around the room still rocking my crying baby in my arms but she was still crying.

"Maybe you try?" I said as I put her in Kings arms.

I watched as he spoke softly to calm her down , but Alaiya was still crying.

"Yo K man , shall we take her to the doctors or somethin' ?" He asked , on his face was nothing but worry.

"Ion think its that deep ..." i said , but who was I fooling , myself or king?

"She keep crying man." He told me as his voice broke.

"I f- " i begun...

Alaiya's cries got louder ... she began to scream.

"Oh my goodness." I felt my eyes water up as I stared down at a crying baby. Her eyes was bloodshot red and her snotty nose was pink.

"Fuck man." King hissed.

"Lets go too the hospital." I panicked.

We didnt save no time , we rushed out too the car , I didnt even put her in her car seat , I sat her on my lap as King zoomed to the nearest hospital. Once we pulled up we made our way to the reception.

"Our baby wont stop crying." I blurted out.

"How old is she?" The receptionist asked.

"Shes 10 months old , shes been crying since erm - like 8 in the morning."

"Have you tried t- "

"Iv tried everything , literally you name it we have done it." I said , not tryna be rude.

"Il take you to see a doctor straight away." She said as she led us too a room.

"Thankyou."  We followed her into a room to be seated in front of a woman.

"Hello My names Susie , what is wron-" she looked down at Alaiya. "Your baby wont stop crying?" She said catching me off guard.

"How did you know?" I asked confused.

"Her eyes are extremely red , you look worried as hell and he looks completely drained." She said pointing to King. Who was in his own world , he hasnt said a word since we got here which was starting to worry me.
