Chapter 3

"So what are you doing in Mr Jacob Pitts car?" he asked, his accent was thick it made most girls tremble at the knees. I didn't see what the big deal was.

"Maybe you should know your person of choice before questioning them?" I said flatly I knew Andy didn't want anyone to know we're related unless he trusted them I didn't understand why but I knew Danny was one of his friends so I would let Andy tell him.

"I thought asking questions was how you got to know people?" he said raising an eyebrow as I closed the door and winded down the window "what don't trust me?" he chuckled

"Frankly I don't because I know you're type you take control of girls and use them to your heart's content and not theirs." I flashed a smile before lifting my IPhone out and unwrapping the earphones.

"How do you know they're not using me?" he asked smiling knowing that I didn't think of that.

Darn.

"Why would they use you?" I asked softly feeling slightly guilty,

"Popularity, fame, fortune all the works" he winked at me I just rolled my eyes.

"Stop rolling your eyes they'll get stuck" Danny took my hand away from my ear when I was about to put an earphone in.

"Why were you concerned earlier when I walked into you?" I asked still confused to why he would stop me to ask if I was okay.

"You looked scared and I saw marks on your neck so I was generally worried, I am human you know?" he made it sound obvious yet again I rolled my eyes, but it didn't stop me from tracing the marks on my neck from Chris trying to strangle me when I didn't do what he told me.

"No one has ever stopped to ask me if I was okay why you?" I raised an eyebrow it was true I once went through the halls with a broken nose and no one said anything except when I had run straight into Jinxx's arms without realising.

"You're new here no one should seem scared or be bullied on their first day" he chuckled,

"I'm not new believe it or not I've been here in York for 5 years but it seems like eternity" I replied sitting back in the seat closing my eyes for a second. I laughed when I saw his reaction,

"Close your mouth you'll catch flies!" I laughed even more he looked totally shocked but shrugged it off.

"what was Torrey talking to you about earlier?" he leaned against the car his hands were resting on the door I had the slightest temptation to put the window up and see if he would move his hands in time before they got chopped off.

Okay maybe I'm exaggerating a wee bit.

"Oh Whorey? She told me to stay away from you," I shrugged

"And I see you're doing well with that," he smirked "what did you reply?"

"I said that she should tell you that because you talked to me first and she just said why would you talk a low life like me," I raised an eyebrow "why?"

He frowned at the part about me being a low life, he didn't answer my question

"It's not her place to tell you what to do" he was still frowning as he put a hand through his copper brown hair

"Whose is it then?"

"I didn't mean like that" he whispered as he looked at the ground. I noticed how much he changed in the last few seconds, he raised his eyes to look at me and our eyes locked for a second before

"Didn't mean it like what?" both me and Danny jumped when Andy was sliding into the car next to me followed by Jinxx

"Nothing," I said "just something Danny said Andy" I noticed how he had actually talked to me for the first time in a month. Andy didn't look convinced but dropped it quickly

"You coming round mine tonight Danny boy?"

"Sure if you don't mind and I won't be crashing anytime with your girl?" I was confused until I noticed he was motioning to Andy's arm around my shoulder. Me, Andy and Jinxx burst out laughing and Jake and Ella had got in the front I threw Jake the keys still laughing. Danny looked so confused but as soon as Jake started the engine and was looking at Andy to see if we were ready to go Andy just said "Dude she's my cousin!" and he nodded at Jake to drive leaving a very confused Danny behind.

I just sat there shocked Andy looked at me "What?"

"You finally admit to being my cousin?"

He sighed before answering "I know I've not been the best cousin recently but I thought you didn't like me and ever since we've got here you've spaced yourself out from us so I thought I'd give you space"

It was true I did space myself out from them especially Andy I didn't want to hurt him I was still in shock from the robbery I didn't want to hurt anyone.

I didn't say anything I just hugged Andy from the side which he quickly returned saying "I've finally got my baby cousin back"
