//This is really emotional, if you're a Luke girl I'm so sorry. The feels become real.//

There you were, lying there. Completely full of life, but at the same time, so lifeless. The beeps of the heart monitor being the only thing indicating that you're still living. Just hours earlier, you were sobbing, driving down the windy roads at 11pm.

You and Luke had just gotten into a fight. You never saw him anymore. He was always out and about with his band mates, either touring or having a great time without you.

Of course you were happy and proud of him, but you felt neglected as if he forgets about you.

You glance at the phone as you speed down the swirly roads. After a few more glances you finally decide to pick up the phone, scrolling to find Luke's name.

The tears in your eyes making everything so hard to see. You click the call button on his name as you glance back on the road. A bright light blinding your teary eyed vision, causing you to swerve, hitting the car that blinded you. You drop the phone on the floor as Luke answers

"(Y/N)??" A muffle comes from the phone on the floor but he hears nothing coming from you, just wheels screeching on the concrete and the noises of metal crashing against metal.

---

Luke sprints into the hospital lobby, looking everywhere for his one love. He asks for your name and they lead him down what seems like a thousand halls. He tries keeping a straight face as he walks into your room. A few tears leaving his face as he sees your body in a state of a coma. Bandages and bruises marking every inch of your body causing a sob to leave from Lukes mouth as he immediately rushes to your side. "Oh my god.. I'm so sorry y/n this is all my fault. I should've made you stay.."

---

Luke stayed with you all that week, bringing you food that was never eaten, singing you soft lullabys, telling you how his day has been and wanting you to do the same.

He holds your hand tightly, leaning his head against the bed. "I remember the day you told me you were leaving.." he sniffles, coaxing you and himself as he sings your favorite song he wrote.

"I remember the make up running down your face..." he chokes on the last word, struggling to get it out as he cried against your still motionless body.

The bruises were fading but you had massive brain damage that kept you trapped in your coma. He continued to sob as he tried to sing to you, his hand gripping yours whilst his other clenches the hospital sheets.

"I'm sorry sir, you're going to have to leave." A nurse appears out of nowhere, breaking the song. Leaving the room was always hard for Luke. He never wanted to leave your side but he never refused.

This time was different for him, he felt an odd nausea in the pit of his stomach, telling him not to leave.

"No. I-i can't leave her." he mumbled, looking up at the nurse with sleepless bloodshot eyes, desperation written all across his face. "You need to leave. She has to go into surgery." She says, her face turning from annoyed to a bit sad, seeing the look on Luke's face.

"I'm not leaving." He says a bit more sternly, tightening his grip on your hand, hoping one day, he'll feel your grip tighten even just a little.

"I need a few nurses in here, please." the nurse calls out of the room. Luke knows what she's doing as two male nurses come in. They pull Luke from his grip as he kicks and cries out for you.

"LEAVE ME ALONE! I NEED TO STAY!" He screams, somehow knowing something isn't right. "Y/N PLEASE. PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME."

He breaks free from the two men and rushes back to your side, his sobbing starting to go out of control as the men grab him again. "Please don't leave me y/n." He chokes out as the men drag him to the waiting room.
