Chapter 14

Ricardo POV

The next morning when I went to work I spent the whole day thinking about her. I really wanted to see her, so I went to her house.

Catara POV

I heard a noke at the door I checked in the little hole on the door it was Ricardo. I told him to wait I ran and put on some long pants and shirt because what I had on he could see the marks on my body. Then I opened the door.

Catara: What do want?
Ricardo: Can I come in.

Catara POV

I moved and let him in. He sat on the Couch and stood by the door, then he taped on the space next to him meaning to sit next to him and I did.

Ricardo: I want you to come back to work for me.
Catara: No
Ricardo: Look I'm sorry that I doubted you.
Catara: I can't believe you actually thought that I would steal from you. If you think I could steal from you what else do you think I'm capable of doing to you?
Ricardo: I'm sorry I shouldn't have doubted you.
Catara: I'm not going back to work for you.

Catara POV

He looked at me with a disappoint look then said

Ricardo: Fine but can you still go visit Cristal Cristal sometimes she's been asking for you.
Catara: Yea of course.

Ricardo POV

When I was about to leave I noticed something she had her hair up in a bun, it's my first time seeing her in a bun she always let her hair go. I saw something on her neck it was like a mark.

Ricardo: What's that on your neck?

Ricardo POV

As soon as I said that she untied her hair.

Catara: Nothing, it's nothing. Can you leave now.

Catara POV

After he left I sigh in sat on the couch I wanted to go back to work but I need time away from him. My head started hurting, I felt dizzy. The next morning I went to see Cristal. When I was about to knock on the door it opened. Cristal was jumping up and down. She ran into my arms.

Cristal: Catara I missed you so much
Catara: I missed you to.

Catara POV

While I was hugging Cristal I saw Ricardo looking at us from across the room he ssmiled at me.  I gave him a weak smile.

Cristal: You want To play  hide and seek.
Catara: Sure.

Catara POV

We started playing but then my head started hurting I was dizzy my body was shaking.

Cristal: Are you OK.
Catara: I'm-- I'm fin--

Catara POV

I fainted on the floor the last thing I remember was Ricardo calling my name.

Ricardo POV

I picked her up and put her on my bed.
I called our house doctor to come check her.

Doctor: She's really sweaty I can't examine her with her clothes on, you need to undress her.

Ricardo: what no I don't think she Would like that.
Doctor: I need to examine her it's for her own good I'm sure she'll forgive you.
Ricardo: If I take off her shirt will that be enough.
Doctor: Yes

Ricardo POV

I took off her shirt I was choked by what I saw on her body. There was a bunch of marks starting from her neck to her breast to her stomach. The doctor looked at me and said

Doctor: Whoever did this is a monster.

Ricardo POV

I started to understand why she always wore clothes that covers her whole body, and why she
Didn't want to wear a bikini. I wonder who did this to her because that person better hope that we never meet . The doctor examined her and run some tests. Then he left. After a while she woke up she looked at her self she noticed that she didn't have her shirt on. She backed away from me.

Catara: Why is my shirt off what did you do to me.
Ricardo: calm down I didn't do anything the doctor needed to examine you so I had to take off your shirt I was there through the whole examination.
Catara: Oh

Ricardo POV

She looked at her self again then looked at me. She knew that I saw the marks tears started coming down her eyes, she started crying. I got on the bed and hugged her really  tight, she hugged me back. We stopped hugging, I took her hand and said

Ricardo: it's OK
Catara: No it's not.
Ricardo: I'm here now whoever did this won't hurt you again, remember I'll always protect you no matter what.

Catara POV

We hugged again then he stopped hugging me and said

Ricardo: When Was the last time you've been examined.
Catara: long ago, why?
Ricardo: You have anemia. You know what that is.
Catara: Yea it's when u don't have enough blood in your body.
Ricardo: Yeah
Catara: I know you must have a lot of questions so go a head ask.
