He Finds You Part 1- Thomas Sanders Oneshot

Backstory: Thomas was out for a walk. Like he usually does and sees you by yourself.
Thomas's P.O.V.
I was walking at the park with my headphones on. I looked around and took in the view. There are kids everywhere playing and laughing. As I was looking around I saw a little girl sitting by herself. Her knees were up to her chest and her elbows rested on her knees. I noticed tears coming out of her eyes she looked around three years old. I made my way towards her, once she noticed me she started to move away from me I sat down next to her,"Hey sweetie don't be scared. My names Thomas where are your parents?" I asked she wiped away her tears and sniffed,"My parents are mean to me and left me here." She said I felt so bad who would be so cruel to a little girl,"Oh I'm sorry. How old are you sweetie?" I asked.
"I'm thwee years old." She said I smiled gently at her. As I looked closely at her I noticed her arms were bruised, her lip was split a bit and also a bit chappy. Her clothes were also worn down and dirty. She wasn't even wearing a jacket and it was very cold at. I took off my jacket and gave it to her. She looked at me cautiously and took my jacket and put it around herself,"Are you hungry?" I asked she nodded slowly. I smiled at her,"Do you want to get some lunch?" I asked she nodded,"Come on let's go get something to eat. What do you want to get?" I asked.
"McDonalds?" She suggested but more in a question I smiled and nodded,"Okay let's go." I say with a smile.~○~
We sat down at a table and ate our food. I texted my mom telling her what happened. She said she'd come over to visit me later since she was busy. Then I realized that I never got the little girls name,"So hags your name sweetie?" I asked.
"(Y/n)." She replied I was stuck in thought. Thinking of what to do. I definitely didn't want to give her up for adoption. Maybe I'll take care of her. But am I ready for it?
"Are you going to send me away?" She asked breaking me out of thought. I shook my head,"No of course not sweetie." I said.
"Really?" She asked I smiled and nodded she smiled at me. Once we finished up and threw out our trash we started walking home. But I noticed that (y/n) was slowing down on walking,"Do you want me to carry you?" I asked she nodded. I picked her up and carried her home. Once she was in my arms she fell asleep. I carried her all the way home and once I got inside I placed her on the couch and put a blanket over her. I left her there to rest and sat down on the couch beside her. I still can't believe that someone would hurt and leave their daughter. It makes me mad that someone would do that. My phone dinged I pulled my phone out of my pocket and saw it was text from my mom.
Mom: On my way.
Thomas: Okay see you soon!😊
I put my phone away and decided to clean the house a bit before my mom came to the house.~○~
There was a knock on the door. I walked over to the door and opened it. My mom stood there with a smile,"Where is she at?" She asked while walking in.
"She's still sleeping." I said she sat on the couch and observed her from a far,"Poor thing." My mom says sympathetically. I frowned and agreed with her,"Yeah she's a tough one." I say I sat down next to my mom,"So what's your plan?" She asked I looked over at her," I think I want to keep her." I say with a smile.
"Are you ready for it?" She asked I smiled and nodded,"Yes. I think I am. I want to protect her and keep her safe. I don't want her to be hurt anymore." I said she smiled and nodded,"I'm proud of you son." She says while giving me a hug.
"Thomas?" I heard (y/n)'s small voice call out. I let go of my mom and looked over at (y/n) and smiled,"Yes love?"
"I'm hungry again." She says I smiled.
"Okay let me go make you a sandwich.Also this is my mom." I said gesturing over to my mom. (Y/n) shyly smiled and waved at her. I walked to the kitchen and started making her sandwich. Once I finished I walked back into the living room and saw (y/n) talking to my mom and laughing. I smiled I placed the sandwich and placed it on the table. (Y/n) happily thanked me and gave me a small hug before eating her sandwich. I definitely want to take care of her. She's such a ray of sunshine.
