Heartbroken-Capndesdes Oneshot

So a few months ago Destry and his gf of 6 years I believe broke up so I decided to write a one-shot about it. Also I don't  know her name sooo yeah I might make one up. This might be sad sorry.

Destry's P.O.V.
It was another late night and me and Sarah were having an argument,"Look I just don't think being in a relationship right now won't work for me..." she said while lowering her voice.
"Why not? We've been together for so long and we have a daughter.."I said while my voice lowered. She shook her head," I'm sorry... I just can't right now.." she said while wiping tears off her face. I stood there on the other side of the room not knowing what to say. She walked away I'm guessing to pack her things,"Dad..?" I looked over and saw (y/n) standing by the door,"Yeah..?"I replied
"Why is mommy upset?" She asked, her asking me that made my heart shatter. I don't want to have to explain to her what had just happened. But it'll have to happen sooner or later,"Umm well mommy and daddy just had a disagreement that's all." I said trying to sound as strong as I could. I don't want to cry in front of her.
"Daddy you don't have to lie to me..." she said I was taken a back by this. I know she's not oblivious. (Y/n) walked away while wiping her eyes. My heart just sunk knowing that my little girl knows what's going on,"Mommy please don't leave!" I heard (y/n) cry I walked out of the room and out of the living room. I saw (y/n) holding onto Sarah's legs,"Please mommy!" (Y/n) kept crying .
"I'm sorry baby girl mommy has to.." Sarah said while having tears stream down her face. I went over to them and picked up (y/n). She started crying harder. Sarah gave her a quick kiss on the head. She grabbed her bags,"I'll visit okay?" She reassured (y/n) just nuzzled her face into my neck. Sarah went for the front door and headed to God knows where. (Y/n) kept crying into my shoulder as much as I wanted to cry myself I didn't want to," I want mommy." (Y/n) cried I rocked her in my arms.
"I know I do too but things happen for a reason..." I stated a bit sadly. After while of her crying she fell asleep I put her in her room and gently placed her in bed. I quietly went to my room and laid in bed and started to let my emotions out.~...~
I woke up and checked the time it was 12 pm I sighed. I heard the tv playing from the living room. As much as I wanted to stay in bed I couldn't. I sat up and rubbed my eyes I put on my glasses and walked into the living room. (Y/n) was eating a muffin while watching a cartoon on Disney. I sat next to her on the couch (y/n) looked over at me. She cuddled into my side," Will mommy come back soon?" She asked I looked down at her," I'm not sure precious.." I sighed while slinging my arm around her shoulder and hugging her," How about we see a movie?" She said trying to make me feel better I smiled," Sure angel. What movie?" I asked.
"You pick." She said
"Sherlock Gnomes?" I suggested
"Again?" She asked I nodded while smiling.
"Fine." She said I laughed," love you dad." She said
"Love you too angel." I replied.
