Happy Birthday - Cute Oneshot

Happy Birthday!

Author Note ~ 

I know this story is trash but I was bored so yeah. I hope you like it!

It was your first day at a new school. You didn't know anybody. You didn't know where your classes where.

Walking around the courtyard, you find a group of girls that seem nice.

"E-excuse me, can you help me find my first period? I'm new here". You asked politely. One of the girls scoff and walk away. The rest of the girls follow. What's there problem? You get a better grip on the two textbooks you are holding before going to find someone else to help you.

You asked 13 people for help, and not one of them did. They either walked away, or said "Why are you talking to me nerd?" Before walking away. What do these people have against nerds? I'm not even that nerdy! You thought, as you walked the halls to find your class by yourself. Eventually, you found it with only seconds to spare.

The first bell sounded as you took a seat in your first period class in the back corner, taking out your science notebook as well.

"Ok class, we have a new student today. Please stand up". The teacher said, looking at you. Hesitantly, you got to your feet and where met with blazing stares as the students whipped their heads, looking around the room for the new kid. More people scoffed than you expected. Others had an expressionless face.

"Hello, I'm Hyeon Ju. Please take care of me". You sat back down quickly as the teacher began the lesson.

"Alright class, don't forget to complete your homework!" The teacher reminded as all of the students piled out of the room.

As you where packing up your things, a shadow casted over your desk. You looked up and saw a girl. She looked about your age, had big circle glasses, and was holding two textbooks.

"H-hi". You said. She smiled.

"Hi I'm Eunbi, your Hyeon Ju right?" She asked, to make sure she said your name correctly.

"Yeah".

"Do you want to be friends? I don't have many friends since everyone thinks i'm a nerd". She said, and pushed her glasses up.

"Yeah we can be friends. People call me a nerd too". Eunbi smiled and you both walked out of the classroom together and to the rooftop.

"I'm more of a book and music nerd. I hate studying". You said as you took a bite of the slice of pizza you got.

"Me too! I even hollowed out the textbooks I'm always holding so I can keep my drawing notebook in it!" Damn, you used to do that too since people always tried to take your notebook for your drawings.

"That's actually amazing! I never go anywhere without my phone and headphones" You said.

"It's nice to have a friend that just gets me". Eunbi said and relaxed on the bench.

"I know right. Today is actually my birthday, I'm 17 now". You said, closing your eyes as the breeze swayed your hair.

"Wait really?" Eunbi asked. You nodded.

"Oh my god! What are we doing here eating pizza then? Let's go to the bakery and celebrate!" Eunbi got up and grabbed her backpack, swinging on her shoulders.

"Are we even allowed to leave campus?" You asked.

"No, but nobody cares. So c'mon let's go!" Eunbi said, grabbed your arm and tugging it. You smiled and got up, grabbing your things and you both headed to the bakery nearby.

"Cake, cupcakes, or donuts?" Eunbi asked as you both eyes the menu.

"Hmmm" You hummed while thinking.

"Donuts?" You and Eunbi asked at the same time.

"Donuts it is then!" You exclaimed and walked to the register to order.

"What kind do you want?" You asked.

"Glaze for sure". Eunbi replied.

"Same". You turned the lady at the register.

"4 glazed donuts please". The barista took your order and you and Eunbi went to take a seat.

"Here you go" The barista that took your order placed a tray of 4 donuts on the table, then walked away.

You and Eunbi both picked up a donut.

"To birthdays" Eunbi said.

"And new friends". You added. 

You both clinked your donuts together and took a bite.
