Casper runs in circles at the foot of the door, waiting for me to answer it.
"Come on boy, it's not for you. Back up!"
Casper moves out of the way. I pat my hair down and pull my sweater down to hide my skimpy shorts.
Cautiously, I open the door a crack.
A taller boy, about my age, with dark brown hair and ocean blue eyes stands at the door watching the sky above.
"Hello, can I help you?" I open the door a crack more.
"Hi!" He smiles.
I open the door the rest of the way, letting Casper run outside to greet the boy.
Casper jumps up on him, tracking dirt all on his jeans.
I pull casper off the man by his collar and push him back into the house, closing the door behind me.
"I'm so sorry about that; do you need me to get you a rag or something to clean that up?" I start panicking, reaching towards the door.
"No it's fine!" He laughs. "I'm Felix. You're new here right?"
"Yeah, we just moved in a week ago. I'm Eunjae." I shuffle my feet awkwardly.
"I live across the road." He points to a grey house with a blue door and curtains.
"I live.." I make an effort to show off my house as they do on game shows, "..here!"
He laughs, and shoves his hands in his pockets. "It was nice meeting you Eunjae. See you around, yeah?"
"Bye" I go back into the house, Casper running in circles at my feet.
