Eyes

Heat. Vibrations. Then release. That's the only way to explain the feeling in my coursing through my body, through my veins. NO! NO! NO! MOVE! Is all I can think as I watch the truck move closer and closer towards us. But even with the truck coming towards us, I can't help but notice the scene is almost as if I'm watching it in slow motion. That thought and any other one vanishes as I notice how close the truck is now, my friends and I all join hands knowing this is it. I clench my fist and wait...

Impact.

That never comes. I watch the truck bounce and flip almost like it's flying through the air as if reflected by something. Immediately I release a breath I didn't know I was holding, and look around at my friends. Everyone was sitting up straight now, eyes glowing brighter than usual...and different colors than normal. By the time I have finished my short observation, I notice that all of their eyes are on me their gazes those of confusion, shock, and awe?

I get out of the car to check on our car and the person who 'crashed' if that's what you could even call it, and am not surprised to see that there's no damage to the car. I head towards the other driver's car too see if their ok, and her the car doors to Jax's car slam, and turn around to see Stormy, Neo, And Jax walking towards me.

"Hey" Jax calls out to me and I turn my head.

"We need to talk later." He states and I nod.

We finally reach The truck considering it was a fairly good distance away, and we all approach it with caution.

The boys step in front of us girls and I scoff and push past them, Stormy staying behind Neo. Slowly walking to the drivers' side door with my pocket knife in the palm of my hand. I knock, then hearing mumbling I inch closer to the door and hear muffled..laughing? I open the door to see a middle-aged man with crooked bloody teeth and long brown wispy hair, looking straight at me laughing hysterically.

"Ha. Ha. Ha. They're coming... All of them, For ALL of you. Tick, Tock Tick Tock."

Not wanting to stay here any longer, and deciding the man is not mentally stable enough to answer any questions, I tell my friends that it's time to go, and start running towards the car the rest of the car ride continuing in an awkward silence.

We all go our separate ways, even though we all live on the same street. I unlock the door and say hi to everybody, that being my older and younger sister, mom, and younger brother. My sister gives me a weird look seeing that something's wrong and most likely seeing a weird aura around me, and I give her a 'we'll talk late later' look. I head to my room change my clothes and fall asleep, drifting into a dark hole of nothingness, dreams, and nightmares.
