It was her eldest brother.

Liliana stood quickly and curtsied. Her uncle began to speak " my dear niece we would like to have a word with you and your fiance" Charles stood to join her side " of cour-""in complete private your majesty". Charles nodded , trying to keep him composure and not get angry "everyone out " people left the throne room quickly .
Liliana watched Henri follow people out slowly " except the prince" Henri turned and looked at Lilianas uncle. " Of course my Lord" Henri bowed as the guards shut the door.
Nikolai looked at his sister and the dismay in her eyes " if you think we are here to hurt you more than father has , I can promise you that is not why we have traveled so far" Nikolai explained shaking his head lightly ."father knows we are here , but doesn't exactly understand as to why " " then why travel so far" Liliana questioned. Stephan looked at Charles and then Liliana " since mother hasn't been present due to her return to Norway since grandfather's illness father has been sent letters from a woman at French court claiming an unfaithfulness due to her jealousy over you already have taken a mistress , I know Kings have mistresses but this is insanity" Nikolai explained.
Charles looked confused " your majesty I understand that you may never honestly love my niece , but at least wait till after you are wed to take a woman as your mistress  " " Nicole is just -"" so Nicole that is her name" Nikolai interrupted " please understand your highness that you need to wed my sister soon , or due to the rumors  my father would disown my sister and wage war on France" Nikolai interrupted" and before you say anything your highness , my brother is not a patient man he would prefer the next letter you write to be a wedding invitation and not a pathetic excuse or some gossip . And her will not hesitate to wage a war as my nephew has stated" Stephan explained.

Charles took a deep breath " I understand your lordship " Stephan nodded" good and for you Henri " Henri looked up " yes ?" " I understand that you are possibly the man my niece has taken a kind of friendship with , but please remember that she is to wed your brother or Charles would lose his throne as well as Poland and Lilianas mothers home Norway as his allies " Henri nodded . " Good" Stephan said " we'll be staying for a while to over look you both" Charles nodded " of course I'll have the servants show you to your Chambers" the both walked away after Charles called for his servants to take them to their Chambers.
Henri , Charles and Liliana stared at each other " Henri i.."" it's alright Liliana I must go I do have business to attend to before the party , have a good afternoon" Henri bowed before leaving Liliana standing there hurt .
Liliana turned to Charles " I guess you make a wedding date if you ever want them to return home and leave you alone to Nicole " Liliana spat before leaving in an upset haste .
Charles returned to his throne and sat there contemplating on what would be his next course of action.
