Chapter 28
Once the bell rang Sebastian and Claude made lunch. Not only lunch, but statues out of food. Of course Lord Druite had a drama attack.
When the lunch was severed, Ceil ate quietly as I spoon fed Alois. Claude stood behind me eyeing Sebastian. Lord Druite didn't shut up about he food tasting 'god' like.
After lunch, Claude, Sebastian, and I walked back out to the battle field. Sebastian stared at us, no emotion showing on his face.
Hannah went over to Claude. Hannah gaged and choked as the demon sword was being taken. She walked away as Claude now had the sword in his hand. He looked over at me.
"You should go back and sit down." Claude looked back at Sebastian not wanting to take his eyes off him.
"No, I will stay and fight. I need to stand my ground."
"Alright. But if you get hit, you will become a full demon. Are willing to take that risk?"
"Yes."
"As you wish." Claude swung the sword down, crashing into the concrete. "Let's dance."
Claude charged at Sebastian, taking a swipe. Sebastian held up two knifes, they broke in half as the sword hit him. I stood in the back ground waiting for the perfect moment.
Claude kept on swinging the sword. From above, and below, but Sebastian would dodge them swiftly. Only getting the tips of his hair, cut.
I looked up at two earls watching. Ceil looked at me, he had a cloudy look in his eyes. Not a sadden look, or an angry look, but disappointment. I held my head down in shame. I looked back up to see Alois and Ceil talking. They got up and left.
"I'm disappointed in you young master. Leaving me to fight" Sebastian took a quick look over at the two boys.
"I'm disappointed in you Michaelis, taking your eyes off the fight." Claude still swinging the sword. They stopped a moment. "I think that master if yours is weakening your demon scenes." Sebastian tried to take a step back, but ended up getting cut in the cheek.
"My, how did this happen?" He looked back at me and then at Claude. Showing spider threads.
"One small movement and, off with your head." Claude did a hand gesture up against his throat. It worried me a little, Sebastian hated me. That doesn't mean a hate him too.
Claude looked over at me, then looked at my daggers. He took a swing at Sebastian. Sebastian kept all of his focus on Claude. I grabbed one of my daggers. I threw it, purposely missing. Claude looked at me again. Sebastian did too, but raising an eyebrow.
I threw another dagger scraping his chest, tearing his shirt. He frowned, looking back at Claude. I grabbed my third dagger. I pulled back my arm ready to throw. Something stopped me, no one was near me. I was shacking, but very faintly. I couldn't throw it, not to Sebastian. I couldn't hurt him, not when he doesn't know the truth.
I let my arm fall down, dropping the dagger in the process. My head drooped, and I feel to the ground on my knees. I put my hands on my face.
"I can't do it. I can't." I spoke softly into my hands
"And why not? Is he not your enemy?" Claude stopped swing at the demon in front of him.
"He's not the enemy."
"Then who is?" Claude stood high compared me.
"You are." I whispered, not wanting him to hear.
"Are you sure he is the enemy? Am I not the one who is weak, vile, and disgusting?" Sebastian a small tone in his voice. I looked up at him, my eyes watering.
"No, you don't understand do you?"
"What is there not to understand?" He smirked, I stood up clenching my fists.
"You idiot! All you think about is that one little thing I said! Have you ever heard of tricking the enemy!? You know, to get away and go back home and embrace the one you love!!!"
I took a breath, my fists clenched, anger swirling inside. Sebastian's eyes widened, looked back at Claude and let out a small growl. Claude returned the favor and swung the sword straight at his head. Stopping it centimeters away from Sebastian's head. The sound of two swords clinching together filled the air.
