Training with Rc3 and Kannon was proving to be more difficult than AJ had ever imagined. The com-link and all of the technological additions were difficult to adjust to.
“Alyssa, my lady, you are trying ta do things all on your own. Kannon is your partner, use his help when you need it…” Rc3 chided for the twelfth time that day.
“No offense Rc3, but I knew what I was doing.” AJ retorted, trying to keep her temper in tact. The man was treating her as though she was a child and had no business trying to be a FLAG agent.
“And you, Kannon, communicate with AJ… she is your driver. You two are not working like a team!” Rc3 added in a frustrated tone.
Kannon sighed and grumbled, “I’ll work on it…”
“Alright, AJ Liberty and Kannon, I’ll let you both slide this time… ” he breathed calmly.
But he was going to force them to rely on each other if he had to handcuff AJ to Kannon’s steering wheel for a month.
