Hey everyone! Toothbrush here ;) I'm sorry for taking so long because I was quite busy. I hope you will enjoy the full version of Paradise! Hwaiting!

((P.S. Note: Baek = Baekhyun ; Yeol = Chanyeol. If you didn't already know ^^ ))

______________

Paradise

Baekhyun's idea of paradise is sunshine, flowers and happiness. The sun is always shining brightly, the flowers are always blooming and everyone is always smiling. There isn't so much as a hint of the ugliness, the ugliness of the world he lives in. This, is paradise for Byun Baekhyun.

Chanyeol's idea of paradise is drugs, alcohol and smoking. It's a thrilling world he just can't get enough of. In fact, he doesn't care about the after effects of what he does. He doesn't care about what happens to him afterwards, he doesn't even care about who he hurts.

Even if it's Baekhyun.

Every night, Baekhyun watches in silence as Chanyeol opens up a new box of cigarettes, bottles of soju surrounding them both. Baekhyun winces as he mutters something incoherent, obviously drunk. Sometimes, the empty bottle Chanyeol was holding would fall to the floor, smashing into shrapnels of multicoloured glass.

Baekhyun would always rush for a broom while Chanyeol would sit there groggily, half senseless.

It's not the fact that Chanyeol doesn't ever say thank you that makes Baekhyun's tear ducts water. It's that as he sweeps up the pieces of glass, he can't help but compare them to his relationship with his giant: broken and irreparable.

It saddens him. It saddens him so badly that he has to hide the waterfall of tears that flow down his cheeks from his beloved Yeol.

Once upon a time, isn't that how all fairytales start? Well, Baekhyun's relationship with Chanyeol was no fairytale now...but once upon a time, they were Something More Than Friends. Then Baekhyun moved to America to settle some business matters and when he was back after a year, everything was the polar opposite.

He had found Chanyeol on their bed with someone that rudely introduced himself as Do Kyungsoo. Their bed. In Baekhyun's paradise, this was something that would never happen. It was as if a dark cloud had appeared in the sky, blocking the sunlight from reaching the flowers. Baekhyun didn't want to think about what would happen to the flowers.

With a start, he had realised that from then on, his idea of paradise could no longer include the walks in the park with his long legged giant. That giant with the affectionate, intense gaze no longer existed in Baekhyun's life.

However, Baekhyun was still glad Chanyeol still let him stay in his house. Do Kyungsoo had never returned since then, and life was generally smooth albeit the occasional hiccups. That gave him just a shred of hope, that maybe his giant wanted to come back, that Chanyeol wanted to make amends, wanted to love him again. Whatever it was, he hoped that he could make a move soon.

But he turned to smoking and alcohol, seeking his paradise. Baekhyun knows that this kind of happiness is only temporal but he really doesn't have the strength to stop his giant.

He loves him too much.

The next morning, Chanyeol faints in the bathroom. It's hard to lift someone twelve kilograms heavier and eleven centimetres taller, but Baekhyun manages to carry his giant to a nearby chair.

Chanyeol shifts on his arm as Baekhyun uses his other arm to call the doctor.

"B-Baek?" It has been forever since Chanyeol has called Baekhyun by that sweet nickname and the latter can barely hold back his tears as he turns to his weak giant.
