My Saviors (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 1

(Carter's P.O.V)

I look behind me and see he's still chasing me. At this point I have no idea where I'm going. I'm scared because I have never seen him this mad before. I look behind me again and see he's still running after me, but still hasn't gained on me yet. I made a left turn and found myself banging on a door of an unknown house.

Once the door opened I ran inside not waiting for the person to say something. I started sliding down a wall. I brought my knees up to my chest and started sobbing.

I was startled when I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I looked up and saw three girls were in front of me. I couldn't really see their faces clearly because of my blurry vision caused by my tears. It was silent as we just stared at each other until one of them started to speak.

"Hey I'm Ally, that's Normani, and that's Dinah."

She said pointing to each of the girls to their names.

While I was lost in my thoughts trying to process what the short girl had said. After a few minutes of silence two other girls came into the room. I look up from the floor and notice one is wearing a bow and the other a beanie. The one with the bow started talking.

"Guys what's taking so long to.....who's this?"

She cut herself off once she noticed me on the floor crouched up in a ball.

They were all staring at me waiting for me to speak up and say something. So that's when I decided to speak.

"My name is Destiny Carter Rivera, but I go by Carter or D.C"

"Nice to meet you!" They all said in unison. They stuck out their hands for me to shake. The two girls whom I still didn't know their names introduced themselves to me.

"I'm Camila" the one with the bow said.

"And I'm Lauren" the one with the beanie said.

After introducing ourselves, we heard a loud banging on the door followed by him yelling my name.

All five of the girls looked at me with scared looks on their faces.

"Who's that yelling your name outside?" Lauren asked me.

"That's m-my d-d-dad." I said stuttering.

They still had the scared look on their faces when I had told them who was at the door.

"Is that who you were running from?" Ally asked me.

I just looked at them with teary eyes and nodded my head.

He kept banging on the door yelling for me to come outside. I stayed where I was scared of what would happen. None of the girls moved to open the door, also scared of what would happen if they did.

We stayed like that until the banging stopped and we knew my dad had left the house. The girls suggested that I stay with them not knowing what would happen if I went back home to my father. We stayed up getting to know one another until we all drifted off to sleep
