The two abductors picked Sonya up, not even trying to be gentle. Her back slammed against the cold metal of their van when they threw her-- actually threw her-- into it. She heard the two abductors get in, and she guessed the loud thuds were the wounded getting in as well. Sonya had hoped the wounded abductors would have been left behind, so she would have at least a chance to escape. But, she had now given up all hope. Slumping against the van's wall, she just hoped that Ella would maybe find help or be okay on her own.

Sonya winced as a sharp pain erupted in her side. Darkness flooded out everything, and she knew they had used a Grasper on her. As darkness took her over, she felt like she was drowning in black water. Choking on a substance that wasn't there. Sonya tried to suck in air, but whatever it was was filling her lungs. As she coughed, her vision faded and the water dropped away. She hated the things Graspers did, why can't they just stun you? Why in the world do they need to be painful? she thought, mad at the C.C.C.C. Just when she thought the effects of the Grasper were over, she was in her old cellar, shaking as she sat next to Ella. But, it wasn't Ella. She had a pitch black face and completely white eyes which were the only thing that shown through her new black mask of a face. Ella tilted her neck, but it kept going past her shoulders inhumanly. Suddenly black arms that looked like tree branches started coming out from all over her body. Even her head. The arms ripped apart her face, revealing a completely pitch black creature. Sonya screamed and backed up from the monster. She got up and tried to run, but the cellar was cut off by a void of darkness in every direction. Looking down at the void, it seemed endless. There was no cliff, the cellar floor was just cut off where the wall should've been. Sonya looked at the monster, but tripped over her feet and fell back into the sea of black. Falling, falling, falling. Darkness passed her, only turning into more darkness. The only thing that happened was falling. For minutes, hours or days, Sonya didn't know.

Suddenly, she landed on her back. Looking around, she knew the effects of the Grasper had worn off. But, darkness still surrounded her as her head was still covered with the thick drawstring bag. Someone must have noticed she woke up, and they roughly swung the bag off her head. Although the van was dimly lit, it seemed like she was staring into the sun. Her eyes had adjusted to the darkness of the bag, so even just the dimmest light was blinding to her. She tried to cover her eyes, but then remembered her hands were tied behind her back. Instead, she just looked down at the shiny metal floor. Sonya and the abductors were still in the van so the ride was really long, or her dream had just been shorter than it seemed.

Finally adjusting to the light, she looked back up to see the abductors were now unmasked. Two men and two women, she guessed the one she shot in the house was left behind. Sonya noticed that her bag was gone, so her sharp knife was no use at the moment. She felt around for her duller one that she either kept in her coat pocket or jeans. Remembering she had put it in her coat a couple days ago, she felt there. Nothing. They must have checked her and took everything she had. The knife was no longer there. Somehow, she came up with a plan that had almost zero chance of working. But it was the only option.

"So, where are we going?" Sonya asked, trying to sound innocent.
"None of your business, kid," one of the men guards replied. Sonya saw that the guard who talked had her bag.
"Can you come here with my bag for a sec, it has water in it and I'm thirsty," Sonya asked.
"I can't do that, but here," the guard said, rolling her a water bottle. Sonya sighed, and picked it up with her knees. The girl used her teeth to unscrew the cap, then lifted her knees to drink. Refreshing water poured down her throat that she hadn't even realized hurt. Lifting her knees higher as the water bottle emptied, she felt the drowning feeling again. Almost instantly when this happened, she accidentally dropped the water bottle and spat up the water in her mouth. Coughing, she actually came up with another plan, one that might work better.

Sonya continued coughing, her throat starting to get sore again. She started to make her coughing more exaggerated. The guard walked over to her, not realizing he had the bag in the book of his elbow.
"Are you okay?" the guard asked, only mild concern lacing his voice. Sonya shook her head "no", and the guard finally got close enough. She swung her leg from beneath her and knocked the guard to the floor, since he wasn't expecting anything like that. As he fell, the bag fell from his grasp. Sonya grabbed the bag with her feet and slid it behind her, where her hands were. She unzipped it and grabbed her sharp knife, then started to saw away at the suprisingly thin rope. The guards got up and ran to the driver's seat where they had layed their Graspers. Sonya was too quick though. In a matter of seconds she had finished cutting the rope, had the pistol in her hands and the backpack hanging off her shoulders. As a sprout of hope stared to grow, she got in a ready position. Sonya was ready to shoot, and even kill, anyone who came her way.
