   I woke to the sound of my alarm "I'm Up!" I shouted looking over to the alarm. I let out a sigh and pressed snooze before laying down again. It seemed I only closed my eyes for a few seconds before a thought raced through my head. "IM LATE!" I shot out of bed and ran out of my room grabbing the necessities. "Hold on..." I mumbled my hand on the knob to the front door. "I graduated high school last week..." I mumbled to myself plopping down onto the sofa.

   Later on I was just watching tv when a note slid under my note. "Hm?" I stood and walked over, I carefully picked it up and turned it over. A golden stamp with what looked like a unicorn's horn sealed the envelope shut. It...was addressed to me?

Carefully I opened to letter not to damage the contents inside. Slowly I pulled out the aged paper and gave it a quick look over. I looked back at the top and read it properly.

   Dear Y/N,

You have been accepted into Diamond Rank Academy. The highest rank for Mythical Academy, your family should be proud of you.

I paused looked up and around the small empty home. Father and mother were killed in the last attack by a different kingdom while I hid in the crawl space. I looked back to the letter and continued to read.

Classes will begin next week at 10:00 a.m. exactly so do not be late! You will need the following to succeed in your new classes. If you don't wish to come, then burn this letter in fire.

-Phone or any personal device (If you have one)

-Diamond tier robes

-Following Textbooks

~Mythical Handbook
~Magic and Potions

~Gemstones

~The Holystone War History 101

-Something to write with along with backups

-Small Notebook

-3 Large notebooks

-1 or more folders but a binder will be fine

I looked up a smile on my face. Quickly I grabbed a small pouch of golden coins and ran out forgetting to turn off the tv. I took my P/T and called my best friend to see if she had gotten a letter.

"Alora!" I shouted when she picked up.

"What..." Alora mumbled into the phone.

"What academy did you get into?!" I was shouting still, to be fair, I was excited.

"Uh..." It sounded as if the phone was moving as Alora reached of the letter on her night stand.

"Crystal, what about you?" She asked laying back down.

"I got Diamond!" I shouted once more still excited but I still tried not to gloat...

"Lucky you..." Alora yawned.

Alora was never a morning person, good thing the Mythical Academy put the schedule of night owls into consideration.

"When are you planning to get your stuff?" I asked standing in front of some stores.

"Uh...later? I have the rest of the week...it is only monday..." Alora yawned once more wanting to sleep but not wanting to be rude and just end the conversation.

"Ok, what animal are you hoping to get?!" I asked, i could tell she was tired but one more question wouldn't kill them-

"Well" Alora paused to think. "I heard that Crystals get extinct creatures..." She was trying her best not to fall asleep since it was only 6:30 in the morning... "So uh...a Saber Tooth or uh...a dinosaur?" Alora spoke trying to keep their eyes open. Some people used to question how she even got through school. Well, coffee is the secret to staying awake in the mornings.

"Diamonds get mythicals!" I shouted again trying not to gloat but by now, i'm failing miserably... "I'm hoping for a dragon! Or or maybe a Jiuweihu!" I shouted into the phone. "Well i'm nearing the store so imma let you go" "Bye" I spoke trying to calm myself down.

"By..." Alora didn't finish their sentence and instead fell back asleep.

I shook my head hanging up and walking inside the robe shop. Hopefully the school year will go well...
