Mythical Academy

Chapter 1

   A week later and Y/N was ready for Academy...until they got to the main doors... The place was HUGE and mythical beasts watched from the high towers above. Y/N couldn't help but feel intimidated by all the other students and giant gates of what looked like pure diamond.

   One of the dragons let out a mighty roar and everyone in hearing range of the mighty beast stopped to admire it.

   "Welcome students of Diamond Academy!" A voice boomed through the grounds of the large school catching everyone's attention. "I am Headmaster Diamond, here to welcome you to my academy" The tall but seemingly frail woman spoke out to the crowd from what Y/N could see Headmaster Diamond had no microphone or speaker system. How was it possible to be so loud...maybe the use of magic? Potions? Charms? During the week Y/N looked through the books. No, they didn't read just quickly looked over them.

   "Today, you will be receiving a special jewel" "Each one has a different creature inside" "We do not choose the jewel...the jewel chooses you" Diamond explained as the doors to a hut opened. They had everyone form lines and only allowed one student to enter at a time.

   Several hours later it was finally Y/N's turn to enter. The doors opened for Y/N and they stepped inside only for the doors to slam behind them. "Wow" they mumbled looked down the long hall filled with glowing gems of many colors. "Imposible..." Y/N mumbled since the hut was much MUCH smaller on the outside than it was on the inside.

   Slowly they made there way around looked down at all the gems. A slight ding could be heard but where was the source? Y/N made their way down the long, seemingly endless hall. The dings grew louder and louder the further Y/N went. Soon a small glow that only grew brighter when the dings grew louder. Y/N looked down at a red jem, it glowed but, the dings stopped. 'This is the one' they thought reaching for it and carefully picked it up.

   A loud roar echoed in the halls causing Y/N to jump a bit nearly dropping the jem. After a quick look around they looked back to the jem, a small creature laid inside before fading from sight.
