Picture is Nine Naphat as In Sarathoon.
---------------------
The rain was pouring down so hard like there was no tomorrow. The wind was knocking hard on In's windows and the heater was not doing a good job to lower the coldness of the night.
In was shaking under the sheets of blankets. "Damn this storm. Can you give me at least a good night's sleep? I have a double shift tomorrow."
He had it rough today. There was a big commotion in their office with some glitch in one of their client's systems. The data they have stored in their servers were missing as if it had never been there. Their client, a finance company, was in a rage and demanding immediate action over the problem. In's team was working on one of their projects when their Director stormed inside their so-called sanctuary.
"Mr. Sarathoon! I need your team to look into the missing data of PURSE Corporation." the Director shouted. His tone was intimidating enough to make the whole department jump in their own chairs. His aura was shouting irritation and demands showing in his round face, chubby but firm body built covered in an elegant black suit with his white long sleeve underneath and red striped necktie hanging loose around his neck.
"Boss, what brings you here in my humble domain?" In welcomed their director with a warm smile.
"Stop with your nonsense, Sarathoon. What humble? You call your area humble when this looks like a complete spy surveillance area?"
Indeed, In's team was quite isolated at the back area of their office because of the nature of their job. Their area is supplied with different surveillance cameras or at least similar to it, hiding in different places. Be it in their computer, their chair, their cubicles, or even in their own personal things such as picture frames or decorative stuff toys which were mainly In's property.
"It is humble in its own way. So what were you saying again about PURSE?"
"I need you to check what happened in their server that they lost all of their data like bubbles. They are threatening us that they will terminate their contract and file a case against us."
In's team shrugged the issue as if it were nothing or not a big deal at all.
"So what will we get if we can retrieve all of their data? My team is still busy with our current project." In negotiated.
"Are you really that confident you can retrieve it?"
In hummed at his superior. "Give us 30 minutes."
His boss and all of their colleagues can't believe what they have heard.
"That's impossible." the others whispered.
"How would you do that?" the director asked.
"Boss, are you doubting my team? How about you let us get 3 days vacation if we retrieved it? And if we failed, then, I'll take the blame for it and you can kick me out of the company." In proposed a daredevil bet.
"You better not mess with this one."
"Yes sir!" In offered his salute and looked at his team. "Let's roll guys. 3 days vacation next week is at stake." His team nodded at their team leader with a smile and put their attention into their respective computer.
"Brick, open the gateway of Helios. Ram searched for the path of the missing files. Lily, get the recovery vault ready so we can throw the retrieved data in real time. And Army, deliver the data as soon as we get it in the vault, I'll clean their server first, give me 10 minutes."
