Code 14: Lock and Bound

This is itttttt!! The one that I promised. I really love this chapter and I was so motivated writing this one and let me share this to you.

"The one that you saw, the deputy director of CODEX is Spade Daojatti. He's a junior from our high school days. And..." Ram cut off his sentence which made Third furrowed his eyebrows.

"And what P?"

Brick nudge his elbow to Ram to continue his statement.

"Well, Nong Third, we're on your team so you got our support but for this one, you need to work harder than ever. You can consider that kid as your rival, I guess."

Third's face hardened. His eyes flashed danger. "Why would he be a rival? Is he even worth to be called my rival?"

"Hmm, okay let me tell you about him before Ai'In arrives." Ram shorten the space between him and Third so it will be easier for him to tell the story in a low voice.

"He was a junior that caught Ai'In's attention during our high school years. He was a nerd back then but he got skills. Nong Spade piqued the interest of back then, the Robot Prince Ai'In because of his controversial revenge to the bullies who maltreated him. They were really close and there's not a single day that you can't see them together.

Ai'In was truly fond of him but one day N'Spade disappeared without any notice. He left Ai'In alone without any clues and he was in his worst state until he met you."

Third furrowed his eyebrows, his eyes were filled with jealousy. "What do you mean P?"

This time, Brick continued. "We're sure that we have seen the worst state of Ai'In back then when N'Spade abandoned him. That's why you know, he only trust few people. He rather trust machines than humans. But, when you were in the hospital, we were shocked seeing Ai'In almost lost himself. He was in his very worst state when your heart beat rate dropped and the doctors were trying to revive you. It felt so painful seeing him lose his self worse than when he lose N'Spade so I believe you got the upper hand here."

Third's lips formed a very big smile that can brighten the whole office. He was delighted to hear that he holds now a portion of In's heart.

After a few seconds, In came back and he noticed that Third was smiling brightly among his teammates.

"What are you talking about? And why are you smiling like a fool?" The question was directed to Third.

"I love you P'In."

Just like that, out of nowhere, Third confessed his feelings towards In that made the latter turned into beet red. In furiously threw a bottle of water half-filled to Third that he caught flawlessly.

"Shut your mouth." In almost cursed the junior.

"Hahahaha! you got him there Nong but you better keep your words." Ram was laughing really hard making him earn a smack on his head coming from the embarrassed team leader.

The night was long and it was almost midnight when the server of the Cents was back to normal, everything was clean and fixed. Additionally, the five programmers who were believed to be responsible about the incident were traced by In's team and the police is now on the move to catch them.

Third didn't leave In's side though the latter was asking him to leave and have his rest.

"You should've went home and take a rest." In said after they finished their work and now they're on their way to go down to the lobby. In's team went a little bit ahead of them and he was left behind to finish up. Third refused to leave him all by himself.
