The next couple of nights Neil stayed wide awake in his bed. Only thinking of that thing. He wanted it to come back so he can ask it some questions. At the same time his condition was getting worse. He lost weight, was getting weaker and visibly looked tired. If his mom were here, she would have at the very least pushed him to go see a doctor. Neil, being as stubborn as he was, would never voluntarily see a doctor. One night, Neil thought he heard something outside his room. He slowly walked towards the door, but when he opened it, it was only Natasha. "Can you go see if the door is locked?" she asked. "Why would you come tell me to do that? Why didn't you just do it yourself?" he replied frustrated. He still went to go see if the door was locked. As soon as he walked to the door, he knew something was wrong. He felt nauseous and uneasy. The silhouette of a person stood right in front of him. This time it didn't look like Sue or Nathan. It looked like a totally different person. "Why are you doing this to me?" asked Neil as he dropped to his knees in pain. "You don't know why?" the thing asked. "Look at me closely" the thing said as it came face to face with Neil. As Neil stared at the thing's face he started quivering. The more he stared, the more Neil felt as if he knew him. When Neil finally recognized who the thing was, he started crying and said "I'm sorry... it wasn't her fault... she made a mistake... please don't do anything to her". The thing replied "Who said I was going to do anything to her?". Neil mumbled "B... b... but..." before he could finish the thing absorbed his body and Neil passed out. About a minute later Neil woke up and started coughing. As Neil got to his feet and turned around, he saw Natasha. She saw the entire encounter with the thing. Natasha was leaning against the wall with her arms folded and said "You got what you wanted... now leave me alone". Then she walked to her room and shut her door. 'Neil' with a smirk on his face walked towards his room... looking stronger... and with a bit more energy.
