Chapter 8

A few days later

Nami's POV

This morning I woke up feeling refreshed. It was a first since I don't really sleep that good. I wore the same thing I wore on my first day. I normally wore this set as I quite liked how it made me feel. Even though I knew that I could beat this entire class in a second, I still wanted to make myself look good for them.

I walked out of my room after I used the bathroom and went to eat breakfast. There I found my nii-san, he was eating some cereal. And I found that he had made me some too. I smile at him as a thank you. He smiled back, which he doesn't do often.

I sat next to him to talk before we left.

"Hey, nii-san."

"Yes Imōto"

"I'm getting my team today any advice?"

"Yes. don't let them open you up. Then if they turn on you, you will be fine and they can't hurt you. The last thing I want is to see you hurt." Well that was...advice full

"Thanks, nii-san. I wanted to ask you something for a very long time. Where is our father?"

I asked him.

He stopped everything and he left, did I make him angry? What happened? He didn't even finish his food.

I left the compound confused but I put that behind me and went to the academy

I walked into my class and saw Sasuke sitting alone as usual.

I went and sat right next to him, where we talked for ages since we were early. I've really grown on to Sasuke as a friend and I think that he has onto me. The only thing that he doesn't do is smile that much. Just like nii-san

I get used to it though.

A lot of the girls started to come in and they were eyeing me so much. Sasuke always asks if I am bothered by them but I lie to him. It does bother me and it reminds me of want people used to look at me back in captivity in the other village. Sometimes they come up to me when Sasuke is not with me.

Then to disturb me of my thoughts came in the two elephants of the class and leaders of Sasuke's fan club.

When they came in Sasuke-Kun looked at the window to try and escape the fact of their existence.

I took out a drawing book full of all my amazing doodles if I do say so myself.

"Sasuke-Kun can I sit next to you?" The living bubblegum asked as if she didn't clearly see me sitting next to him.

"Sakura can't you see, Sensei put me here you can't sit next to him," I replied

I hoped that she didn't pass the exam or if she did then she would not on my team.

"Does it look like I care? move!" She said

This caught Sasuke's attention. He looked towards Sakura and she thought that he finally had an interest in her but her smile was replaced with a frown when she saw that he was sending death glares to her. I did end up moving though and I went and sat next to another friend, Kiba we talked for a while.

All the girls sat down when Iruka's footsteps could be heard.

Pineapple head was walking to his seat when he noticed naruto was sitting down.

"This place isn't for dropouts."

I looked back and it reminds me of when Sasuke had his second kiss with naruto.

I realised that I was staring at him I turned around but I did see a glimpse of him blushing at me. Looks likes I missed the reason why naruto is here but he has a headband soo... I guess he made it ...somehow.

"Okay, Class" Iruka Sensei began

"Your teams starting with team seven. Consisting of Naruto, Sakura-" naruto starts to cheer and Sakura sulks,

"Sasuke-" naruto and sakura switch places.

"And this team will have an extra ninja as there is an uneven number in this class and that will be Nami."

I wasn't completely upset with my placement but it could have been better. And I hate that bubblegum monster like a girl is on my team. But hey who knows what might happen.

I then didn't pay attention to the rest of the teams, and suddenly we were let go to lunch.

I went out just like everyone else and went to eat with Kiba since he asked me to eat with him yesterday.

"Hey Kiba." I waved

"Hey, Nami. What team are you in? I barely heard my team." He asked

"I'm in team seven sadly."

"Well, we're not together. Who's on your team anyway." He sighed

"The living bubblegum, and the two kissers." I mimicked naruto and Sasuke kissing. He laughed at the sight and I joined in with him.
