9. Why the characters are changed

Today, the whole crew will have an official photoshoot session for the upcoming series.
After such long auditions, the fellow group finalized all the characters i.e seniors and juniors to act in the series.

Everyone is so excited! The enthusiastic teens in the production cast seems to be quite curious about all the new things they are going to experience here. Afterall, it's gonna be all new and fresh to them.

After making the necessary arrangements, they made a call to Singto, Krist and the whole cast to inform them about the photoshoot and filming test for SOTUS the series. It's kinda a test to check their on-screen chemistry.

They have given some dialogues to all the members who got selected for SOTUS.

After a few minutes passed, Krist is the first one in the whole group, who said that he had learnt all the dialogues whole heartedly in just a span of 15 minutes.

Everyone was quite surprised and in awe after that.

So, they called him first. The cameras were set, the lighting was perfect. He just has to wait for the director to say 'action!' and here he did.

He acted exactly just like how the director want the character to perform. He was flawless at expressing the emotions, not too much and not a bit less, just perfect with detailed expressions.

Everyone was splendid by his acting skills. They were mesmerized on seeing his skills unfold, especially Singto.

It was now others' turn. Singto was the next one who said he's done with the dialogues.

When Singto acted, he acted well but he didn't delivered exact dialogues at that time.

But everyone was impressed with his acting skills even though he replaced a few words here and there instead of speaking the exact dialogue.

Slowly everyone performed. And according to the director, it was a great success.

Now comes the other test, which is to make the other party feel shy.

So, Krist acted as if he's trying to seduce Singto while biting his lower lip and rubbing his chest as if he's feeling so hot.

Singto felt so intimidated and shy that he couldn't help but run away from there. He was super embarrassed at that time. Everyone was laughing at his condition.

After a few minutes, Singto came out shyly. It was now his turn to act.
Being simple as he is, Singto just leaned towards Krist leaving little or should I say no space between them and his whole concentration was focused on Krist's lip while delivering the dialogue.

"Why are you seeing here and there, when you're having a handsome boyfriend?"

On hearing this, Krist felt very shy without knowing himself. His face, ears and even his nose became as red as a tomato. So, he immediately turned his face away with a hint of a smile threatening to break on his face. People perceived it as his meltdown on Singto's words.

Though they both felt shy on another one's act, they all voted for Singto because his act made Krist shy. And due to his lighter skintone, the expressions were quite vivid on his face. So, everyone thought that it was Singto who was the one to win the round.

For third act, it was a test for the senior gang. When Singto stands with the senior gang i.e Bright, Knott,Prem and Toota , he is looking the odd one out as if he's out of box because of his thin frame and lean body.

But on replacing Singto with Krist, it was found that the senior gang looks perfect because Krist is a little bit chubbier than Singto and he also mixes well with them while Singto is a bit reserved to himself.

By considering all the acts, the crew and director selected Krist for P'Arthit's role and Singto for Kongpob.

At the end, they did a make up test for Krist because in SOTUS novel, P'Arthit have long hair.

When they did the make up test, Krist was looking like a beautiful girl. Actually using beautiful is a wrong choice because he is looking like an angel, more beautiful than any other girl.

So, the crew decided that P'Arthit's character goes without long hair on screen.

After finally finishing all the tests and shoots, they finalized the pay of the actors. They decided to pay Krist and Singto 25,000 bahts per month and others will get 21,000 bahts per month until the shooting ends.

"Untill SOTUS the series gets completed and aired, they should not date anyone.", said the manager.

"I already have a fann (lover) and I won't hide my status. If you are against my decision in this matter, I don't want to act." Krist said firmly.

Since they don't want to loose such a good actor like Krist, they said ok.

"What about you Singto?", the manager asked

I am not committed to anyone.

So, the manager said they will cut a teaser of Rama 8 bridge scene on coming Saturday. So, they gave away the dialogues to Krist and Singto.

They told them that in teaser they have to introduce themselves and have to say that though they both are from same faculty, they don't know much about each other.

They have to say that they just met in the second round.

For that, they both agreed and left the place.

While going out, Singto says, "I didn't know that you love her that much. I like your guts."

"I like her P, I don't want to loose her. She is very good at heart.", Krist said fondly.

Then Krist asks, "Phi why we have to say that we don't know each other, while I was trained as head hazer by you. It is obvious that you trained me because we are senior and junior from same faculty."

"When practically the whole college knows that I fought with your group, Why I have to say 'I don't know you' on screen. When I am a drummer for every event in college, why they are asking you to say that 'you didn't know me' as well."

"We don't know anything about how the entertainment industry works right? They may have their reasons. So, just obey as they say. Don't be a brat as you are in college.", Singto said.

"Ok Phi, as you say. I have to go now because exams are coming up, I have to study. Let's meet on Saturday."

"Ok, Study hard na Thee-rak (darling)", Singto said teasingly.
