Warning: Death and Betrayal
It was a dark and lonely night. Briony decided to take a late night stroll at the edge of a lake. Her light dress flowed in the light cold breeze.
Her emerald eyes shined in the moonlight with happiness. What she didn't know was that her boyfriend, Azaya was following her. He watched her cautiously trying not to get seen by Briony.
He watched her as she stripped of her clothes to reveal a two piece bathing suit. Briony tied her hair up into a high bun and dived into the water. She swam around for a little while.
Azaya tried to stay out of her field of vision. He smirked when he saw her swim around before he went into the water himself. He crept up behind her and tied something around her legs.
She was dragged down the bottom of the lake. He looked away from her and swam away when Briony screamed for her life. "I'm sorry, baby." Azaya said with tears in his eyes.
Briony stopped screaming minutes later. Azaya walked away from where he was watching her from land. He pulls out his phone from his pocket and calls someone "I did it, are you happy now?" His voice is shaky.
"Yes, good job." A voice on the other end of the phone said.
"Why did you make me do this?!" Azaya cried "It was because I knew it would hurt you the most."
"You're cruel and sick."
The person on the phone says nothing and laughs. Azaya cries more and hangs up the call.
He looks back at the lake and says "I will kill him for you."Tears roll down his cheeks "I promise you." He ran away from the lake quickly.
Everyday he'd come to the lake and place Briony's favorite flowers around the edge of the water. He could hear her voice whispering in his ears "Why, dear?" "Why did you do this to me?" He never knew what to say to her.
He could feel her touch on his face when he cried. "I love you."
" I didn't want to kill you but I had no other choice." " I hope that you are living a good life in heaven." Azaya smiles upset at the beautiful Bellflower flowers around the water.
He walks back to his home. "Life isn't the same without you, my Bri."Weeks has passed since Briony's death.. Azaya is still devastated about it. He managed to find the person who made him kill Bri and kill them in revenge.
