PART 4

( Chris's POV )

Remembering the events of yesterday, it was absolutely not pleasant at all. I try to forget them but my mind tends to bring them back. I have to do something or else I'll be going crazy.

"Hmm...What should I do? Everything I did to forget them was no use...", I said to myself.

"Well, how about do some swinging around the city? That should do the trick.",the voice suggested.

"Huh, what a great idea!"

I morphed into a monstrous form and climbed myself up a tall building. I jumped off the edge and began swinging.

"Wooh, This is fun!"

"Told you.."

45 MINUTES LATER...

After awhile I landed on the roof of an expensive condo, I was able to see everything, but as I scanned through the city, something caught my eye. I descended into another building which is smaller to get a better look, and it was something I would never expect. It seems he or she, look like me, a symbiote-covered person with an intimidating face, claws and more similar characteristics that I also possess. I finally landed down the area where the person was and talked to him.

"Hi, I'm Chris..And you are?", I said while greeting him.

But there was no response, I knew he or she was somewhat scared, so I tried to convince the person that I could be trusted.

"Anyway, I guess we are in the same case now: saw a meteorite fall of the sky, got a closer look, and POOF, we became one the hosts of the symbiotes..", I said to him in a calm tone.

"How could I trust you? I don't even know who you are..", he said in a scared tone.

" Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you, It's cool.", I said to him.

"You know what, let's talk someplace more private.", the person suggested.

We went inside an abandoned building and found a comfortable area to stay.

"I'm sorry for being rude awhile ago, anyway my name's John.", he said.

"And I am Chris. So, what's up being bonded up with a symbiote?", I asked.

"It's going well, I'm able to manage myself and the symbiote with no harm.", he answered.

"That's great! Wait, one question, could you control yourself even at times when you have intense emotions?" I wondered.

"Yup. It's gotten easier to control the symbiote over the years.", he said to me while scratching his head.

"Cool, how did you do that?!", I asked excitedly.

"Someone actually teached on how to control the symbiote, and he has a symbiote too.", he explained.

("Wait, There are actually more people like us?"), I said in my head.

"We were looking for a planet that is suitable for us, and we found your planet, Earth. So we decided to bond with you humans to feed our hunger.", the voice explained.

"Oh.." I said.

"So, since we got to know each other, want to have a drink?", John asked me.

"Sure! That would be delightful.", I said with a grin.

We went into the 'Cold Breeze Cafe', and sat on the side of the cafe. A waiter appeared and asked for our orders, we ordered two 'Winter Cocoa' drinks and he went back into the kitched.

"Thanks for the treat, John, It's really nice of you to do this.", I said to him.

"Eh, it's not a problem..", John said.

"Anyway, is there by any chance that there are more people here with symbiotes?", I asked him even though I know th answer.

"Yes, but there are some of them who are using it for evil, they operate in the shadows and they are the reasons of some crimes.", John explained.

"But there some like us right? Good-willed people.?", I asked with hesitation.

"Absolutely, I have some friends that have symbiotes and are still good guys.", John answering my question while playing with some sticks on the table.

The waiter appeared with our drinks and placed them onto the table, we quickly took our respective drinks and enjoyed the taste.

1 HOUR LATER...

We finally got out the cafe after a long chat, before we left, we said our goodbyes.

"Thanks again for the drink John.", I thanked him.

No problem, well, see ya tomorrow!.", John exclaimed while leaving the area and waving his hand. I transformed again and swang across the city just to get to my house quickly.

"Boy, what a cold night.", I said.

"it feels REFRESHING.", the voice said with emphasis.

I finally arrived home and quickly went into the bed. I took my blanket and began to sleep with no interruptions.

It looks like Chris made a new friend, one question is that, could he be trusted? That would be reserved for another. chapter!
