"And now lets welcome on the stage the one and only, IU!" Everyone in the audience clapped for her as her for on the stage. Jungkook was sitting with the rest of the member as he cheered her on the stage.
"Hah! I know you like her." Seokjin said mockingly.
"More like looooove her!" Hoseok added. Both of them had been teasing him throughout the award show.
"Guys shush! What if this gets caught on camera?" He said looking here and there to make sure no one heard him.
"Heh! That would be better, the armys will go crazy and then you will see bad edits of IU and yourself together." Added Yoongi from a corner.
"Stop it hyungs!" He shuts them up and starts paying attention to what IU noona was saying. Half way through her speech she said sorry as her speech was quiet long. Jungkook couldn't control himself and shouted,
"Don't worry IU noona! You are doing great."
IU looked at him directly in the eye and smiled. She smiled one. He died twice.
He could notice people judging his like anything but he couldn't careless. His noona was up there and doing so great. The moment her speech ended Jungkook got up and clapped for her.
Namjoon and Taehyung were eyeing him.
"What?" He asked.
"Are happy now? She smiled at you."
Now that her speech was over Jungkook returned to his senses and covered his face shyly.
"Aww guys I think kookie needs our help." Seokjin winked at Hoseok.
"I got it." Hoseok got up and left to god knows where.
"Where did hobi hyung go?" Jungkook asked.
"You'll see." Said Yoongi.
Fifteen minutes had passed but hobi had still not returned and it was time for them to give their speech.
All of you finally got on stage and Jungkook whispered to Seokjin,
"Hyung where is hobi hyung?"
"I don't know this plan was... Oh there he is."
Seokjin pointed behind the stage. Hobi came running up on stage.
"Where were you? "
"saving your ass of course!"
At this Jungkook just shut up and stood there. Like always, Namjoon Was The one speaking in english and the rest of the members stood behind him, forming a semicircle.
Seokjin and Jungkook barely understood anything where as Hoseok and Jimin were just smiling, Taehyung wasn't even paying attention as he was busy doing nothing and Yoongi seemed to actually pay attention, he even laughed at the jokes joonie made and even corrected Namjoon's pronunciation once. Jungkook raised an eyebrow at him and whispered to him,
"Hyung honestly tell me can you speak English? "
"Not really." he said and grinned his gummy grin at him.
Hmm pure lies.
After the speech ended, everyone bowed one last time and entered back stage where IU was standing.
Jungkook's heartbeat rose and he looked at hobi. And hobi just slyly smiled at him.
He must have arranged for Jungkook and IU to meet.
Namjoon and Seokjin immediately got off pulling Jimin and Hobi who wanted to stay and listen to their conversation.
IU was busy talking to one of her managers.
Taehyung asked Yoongi to come with him so Jungkook could talk to IU but Yoongi being himself was too lazy to get off and go down to stares, so Taehyung was forced to give Yoongi a piggyback ride.

"Ahem." Jungkook cleared his throat to get IU's attention.
She looked up from her paperwork and smiled at him. That warm smile that caused Jungkook to have butterflies in the pit of his stomach.
"Hello Jungkook!" she said and extended her hands.
Jungkook just froze on spot not able to react to the situation. IU felt weird and was about to put her hand down when Jungkook suddenly wrapped both his hands her one hand.
"Hello IU Noonan... I just have to say that since childhood you have inspired me a lot and taught me how to keep smiling even in the hard time. Infact, I am one of your biggest fan and I really love your voice." Jungkook just spit the words at full speed.
IU just smiled at him.
"you know when I met the person who inspired me a lot even I was the same mess as you. But it's okay. Now hear me out, even I love your voice, I've heard slot of your songs."
SHE LIKES MY VOICE AHHH! Jungkook internally screamed.
"I have also heard your cover of 'ending scene' one of my most famous and personal favorite songs. To be honest, after listening to your version of the song I realised all the mistakes I had made while singing it.... You are my new inspiration Jeon Jungkook. "
Did she just say that I inspired her? Did she just say that she likes my voice? Did she just say that she heard the cover song? Did she just say that she realised her mistakes after listening to my version of the song?
"omo, I have no words. I mean... "
She giggled and said, "so people were write, you can actually be jungshook."
At this Jungkook blushed and looked away, only to see that all his hyungs were standing behind the door eavesdroping. I'll leave them this time, kook thought and brought his attention back to IU.
"ma'am we have to leave now. " said the manager who had just enters to room.
"I am sorry Jungkook that our meeting was so short but I have to leave now."
Jungkook's heart sank but he forced a smile and said, "no problem, I hope we meet again and I.. I just have to say that, y-you are exactly how I thought you would be. Sweet and kind. "
Now it was her turn to blush.
"bye Jungkook... Until we meet again. " she said and turned to leave....
But as if it was God's plan both of you had the same idea in mind she turned around and both of them said togehter,
"wanna do a collab?"
