The sunlight shone brightly into the room as Annabeth woke up, she felt like she had just had the best sleep of her life. Of course she did though, because she was in the arms of her very own Seaweed Brain! She lay in bed for a few minutes thinking of what to do with her free Saturday, she didn't feel like going out even though it was an amazing day. She just wanted to have a lazy, movie day, but NO Finding Nemo!
She smells something delicious wafting in from the kitchen, like. . . Pancakes! She hopped out of bed and ran through the kitchen door to find that the whole room had been covered in... she couldn't even tell anymore, uh flour, eggs, butter, sugar, and of course . . .blue food dye! She was kinda annoyed at missing out, but since the kitchen was already an absolute mess, a little fun couldn't hurt. She grabbed a handful of flour and quietly tip toed to where her fiancé was standing and dumped it on his messy bed head black hair.
He turned around slowly, with his eyes narrowed and a look of amused but also shocked crossed his face. He looked so funny that Annabeth couldn't help it any more, she burst out laughing. Soon she was laughing so hard she was in tears! Percy still just stood there with a shocked and amused look on his face, but there was something else there, the look he had when he was planning something. Annabeth didn't have time to react, he picked her up bridal style sat her on a chair and dumped a box of eggs on her head, and for good measure poured some blue powder dye. She was furious, but also kinda impressed, she dipped her finger in a clump of butter and put it all over his nose. He poured a whole bag of sugar over her and soon they were rolling around on the floor laughing like mad people, they were surprised that the neighbours hadn't come to check on them yet. After a while, they just lay there, while Percy held Annabeth in his arms and she couldn't even try to be mad anymore, "Dam You Jackson!" She whispered under her breath, he chuckled lightly and soon they were both fast asleep.
