After his afternoon staff meeting, Jax headed to his office with Amber on his mind. Though their encounter a few years back was not as stellar as he had hoped, she was back in his life. And she sought him out! Jax knew the effect he had on women in general, but Amber denied him. Despite the fact that the opportunity for retribution presented itself, with Luke sleeping with another woman at the time, she chose the high road. This made Amber intriguing to him. The women Jax knew required little to no effort when it came to invitations of sex, so she was an anomaly in his world. To Jax, Amber's arrival was a second chance. She was the ultimate challenge. The one that got away; And he was not going to let the opportunity get derailed again.
Jax entered his office with a stack of invoices and a suitcase full of cash in tote. As he walked in, the phone rang. Since he was in a busy work flow, Jax decided to let the answering machine pick it up as he headed to the cash room to drop off a new cash deposit.
"Jax... Jax.... Pick up the damn phone Jax..." The curt voice demanded.
Jax immediately dropped the case and ran for the phone at his desk,
"Yeah, yeah Seth what's up?" He said as he attempted to catch his breath.
"Look, I need you to be on alert. There is a woman that will be attempting to rob me. I am not sure which location she will hit, so I am contacting all of you to be cautious," Seth explained.
"A woman? Can I get a description? Is she with a crew?"
"She maybe with another woman. I am emailing you her picture now..." Seth shared. Jax opened his inbox and loaded the picture Seth sent. Jax sat frozen, staring at his monitor. It was as if time had stopped. The woman looking back at him was Amber.
"Her name is Amber Floyd. She maybe with a black woman, similar height and build. You got that Jax?.... Jax?.... Damnit Jax are you fuckin' listening??!"
"Yeah... uh...yeah boss. I got it. Why would she hit us though? No one would be that stupid right? "
"You would think! You know that Pawn Shop Heist?"
"Yeah, no one would talk on that one...."
"Yeah well, it was that fucker Luke..."
"No shit! I had a fuckin' feeling..."
"Yeah, well he wasn't alone. And apparently she already took care of him back in Woodman Hills..."
"No shit..."
"Yeah, took him out in his grandmother's trailer. Bitch got to the fucker before I did..."
"Shit..."
"Alright, keep shit tight up there Jax. No mistakes."
"If I find her, what do you want me to do with her?"
"Fuck her up. Her and that black bitch she's with."
"Copy Boss."
Jax hung up the phone. He sat there, stunned at the turn of events. He wanted to conquer the majestic Amber, but she turned out to be a true nemesis. Suddenly a new emotion flooded him. The feeling pierced through his flesh with nothing less than intensity. It was with clarity that he accepted the emotion... rage. The calm and smooth manner that Jax once coined disappeared. Rage was all that was left within him. Jax tossed the invoices across the room. The keyboard and desktop soon followed. After his aggressive fit, all that stood was a breathless Jax in a devastated office. That pretty bitch played me! She fuckin' played me! I got something for her! Tonight will be more interesting than I thought... he thought to himself.

"So are you sure your men are ready?" Jasmine asked Seth as he ended his call with Jax.
"Of course they are ready. They're trained for these kinds of situations," Seth answered dismissively. He casually returned to the documents on his desk as Jasmine stood.
"Look Seth, I know you think you have this under control, but you don't. You don't know her. You're under estimating her." Jasmine warned.
"Jaz, you're talking about one woman and her fuckin' friend. How can I not have this under control? It sounds like your fuckin' underestimating me!" Seth was becoming agitated again. Jasmine took full regard of his reaction, not wanting a repeat of the art gallery. She chose a different approach.
"Seth, sweetie, of course I'm not underestimating you,"
"I thought not," Seth stated, visibly calming.
"I have an idea, how about I pay a visit to your spots. Talk to your guys; let them know what I know about her. Just so that we are all better prepared, you know, tactically," she suggested, utilizing her talents of persuasion. Seth sat staring at Jasmine with scrutiny for a long while. The idea sounded logical, but he simply did not trust Jasmine. Then he made a decision that would put him at ease. A slow smile crept across his face,
"Okay."
"Okay?"
"That's what I said Jaz."
"Okay, I will go now!" She was excited, ready to take Amber down herself.
"Where are you going first?" Seth asked Jasmine as she headed to the door.
"Where's the closest spot to this office?"
"Lush in Main Line."
"Ooh I love Lush! That's my first stop then," she put on her sunglasses as she headed out of the door, "I'll call when I arrive."
"I know," Seth hollered out as the door closed behind her. Seth hit an extension on his desk phone and the line picked up immediately,
"Boss?" A gruff voice answered.
"Tail her."
"Copy Boss."
Seth hung up. The smile spread across his face once again. Don't underestimate her... ha! She's one fuckin' girl! I'm a fuckin' army! She'll find out soon enough...
