The afternoon was like any other, though the events would change my life. I was walking back home from going for a jog in the city, I had gotten into an argument with my mother earlier, it wasn't about anything serious and now thinking about it it was pretty dumb to argue about it.
I look on ahead towards my end destination, where I need to go, and I see smoke rising in the distance. That's strange why would there be smoke? I brush it off as I still couldn't see my house, and I needed to turn the corner once I get down to the end of the street I am currently walking on. Besides it could have nothing to do with me anyways, so why should I worry?
I watch as the clouds pass by, reforming in shape, and even breaking away from the rest of their original cloud formation. Images I am able to make out of the clouds as I walk help pass the time, and before I know it I am rounding the corner to my street, my home is the first one on the corner.
My mind goes blank, all feeling I have is gone. My legs shake and soon give out from under me, I wanted to tear my gaze away from the sight, but my heart just wouldn't let me. Everything I have ever known, everything I ever owned, all my dreams, all my hopes, and my family are all burning up within this house that holds so many memories.
After for how long I notice a sign on the front lawn, I couldn't read it, but I could definitely identify the language as Auix. I shakily stand, my heart still couldn't believe what I saw and wanted to stay, wanted to almost wake up from the dream we call reality.
My legs take minds of their own and start running.
Running to? I do not know.
Running from? Again, I don't know.
I jolt up, sitting up in bed. My heart was beating, no pounding in my chest, and my muscles ache. I grown as I crawl out of bed and sit on the foot of my bed, regretting my choice to run so much yesterday, and especially after getting done with a jog. I weigh my decisions on if I should just stay in bed or get up. Let's just say it was a hard choice, but I knew if I retreated to the safety of the bed, I don't think I would come back. I groan mentally and physically, my muscles screaming for me to stop, but I know better then listen to them.
I head out, reciting all the twists and turns of the mansion. I arrive back towards the front of the mansion, where I entered the mansion. One of the more trained fighters whom was for some reason in the mansion, said nothing only gestured for me to follow as I follow behind. I look around, in wonder, and slight warily.
He brings me to an open room, it was like a big dining room. I look back to see where the guy was, but he had seem to have taken his leave.
"Ah, you found your way around. I apologize for not showing you around, along with telling you where we would be meeting up." Lauraa says as I turn my head to see her in the doorway of the kitchen, where it leads behind her, I currently have no clue.
"You shouldn't need to apologize, you were kind enough to allow me to stay in your territory and beautiful home. Tell me, what do you want in return so I can pay off my debt for the trouble I have caused." I tell her, Fararrs were always taught to be so formal, which I am trying to use now but the mornings always brought hardships to my mind.
"We can talk about that later, for now I just wish to get to know of who I let into my territory." Lauraa said, walking over to the dining table. She took the one at the end on the opposite side of where I stood. It wasn't like a king or queens large table, instead it was just a long table with, a count of eight chairs lining the table on each side, so sixteen chairs in total.
I walk over to the opposite side of where Lauraa sat, so we were facing each other. Lauraa, closes her eyes in thought, and then groans opening her eyes.
