Heather P.O.V.

"Think fast!" My brother threw me the biggest ball I ever saw in my life.  Hopefully I catch it in time, if I didn’t, probably I will be in the ground right now.

"Ugh, you are no fun big sis." Gabriel threw his bag in the couch of our living room and started running to his room.

"Gabriel." Mom called him with so much calm, that we both knew when she use that tone you better run away.  She was entering the house and stood still in the hall waiting for Gabriel’s answer.

"Yes ma’am." He stopped in the middle of the stairs and turned very slow to face mom.

Our mother stared at him really deep in his eyes, Gabriel began to turn red and walk down stairs to pick up his bag from the couch.

"Thank you my dear." With that Gabriel relaxed and run again to his room.

I was laughing at the scene that just happen in front of me, but when I turned to tell something funny to mom, I stopped laughing abruptly because of the serious expression she was giving me.

"Where were you? You didn’t reply my messages and calls, nothing." The stare she gave me was pure curiosity and a little anger.  I didn’t check my cellphone since I woke up with Aaron in my room.  Where’s Aaron now?

Shit, now what am I going to tell mom?

"Um, when I left school I went to Starbucks to meet up with… Daniela and…" I hate lying to mom, I didn’t prepare for this.  "Err… and my cellphone died while I was there with her because I…. didn’t charge it last night."

She stared at my face studying it, I gave her the most serious look I could do and stare back at her.  We were in the middle in the living room staring at each other.  It was starting to get awkward the moment so, I decided to break the silence.

"So mom, why you were calling me then?"

"Nothing, I just wanted to know how was your first day at school and to know if you were going somewhere with Daniela after you leave the building." Big nothing she gave there.  Finally she smiled, my lying thing work, great.  I relaxed and sat in the couch and turn on the T.V. to see my temporary favorite series for now; Once Upon a Time.

I was trying to concentrate to watch Once Upon a Time, but the fact that Aaron is a werewolf, my Moon Mark, the war between all the species, the Old Masters of werewolves and the voice that whispers in my head the word Moon goddess was invading my mind.

I quite don’t understand yet why all this stuff has to do with me.  Aaron told me earlier that only werewolves had that Moon Mark.  Then why me, being human, I have it?

Maybe you are an alien inside of a human body all this time Heather.  Nah, I quickly rejected that thought.  Oh, and don’t forget that I have to go to Alaska soon to find information of all this shit.  How am I going to tell that mom?  Maybe Aaron and I can travel in summer with the excuse that I won a competition and the prize was the trip.  I don’t think she could buy that, I wouldn’t do it if I was in here shoes.

I stayed a long time in the couch trying to take in all that Aaron told me before that I haven’t realized two hours had passed.

"Dinner it’s ready." Mom called us.

It was 11:00 pm and mom and Gabriel were sleeping since last time I checked at 10:45 pm.  I was waiting with nervousness for Aaron.  I turn off all the lights of my room so that everybody will think I went to sleep too.  I was lying in bed waiting for Aaron and began to search for my Iphone to hear some music while I do the waiting action.
