Almost a She-Wolf

Chapter 9

I wasn’t capable to stop staring at the paw on the floor of my kitchen.  Is this some kind of threat?  My family never has that type of problem to receive some threat, we never borrow money and base the things I know we don’t have enemies.

The nauseas were beginning to take control of my body by keep seeing the paw.  Aaron was like me, froze staring at the paw but with the difference that my expression was terror and his full of rage.  The odor of burned bread from the toaster woke me up from my trance.  I went running to turn it off and threw away the black sandwiches.  When I felt the pang of my stomach I made my way to the bathroom to throw up last night’s dinner.  When I finished my nasty action I brushed my teeth, it was in that moment I felt Aaron came to rest his body by the doorframe of the bathroom.  I just kept staring and my reflection in the mirror, my hair pretty messy and my skin getting pale.  You can see the terror I feel in my eyes.

“Are you ok? “He ask me while walking to where I am and giving me a hug from behind.

“No” I answer to his reflection in the mirror “What’s happening?”

With a sigh Aaron move me in some way that I was now face to face with him, his eyes were reflecting worry and I detect a tiny bit of rage in them too.

“I don’t know, but I’m going to find out. I’m going to tell my father to start an investigation group for this. “

“And my mom, my brother?  Aaron, if something ever happened to them…” I couldn’t finished the sentence without my voice beginning to break.

“Don’t worry my love, I will order some guards for your mother and brother. To guard them the twenty-four hours and for the nights here in your home” He closed the distance between us by gathering our foreheads “I will never let anything happen to you, every pain you feel, every sadness, every lost I will feel it the double for you.  Is my duty to protect you and your family, you are part of my life now, my family. “

No matter how hard I try to not cry, the tears won the battle and they were beginning to fall like a river.  I know I barely know him but there something inside of me connected to this guy, it’s like a magnetic connection.  Every touch, every kiss it cause a type of fireworks all over my body, it was inexplicable.

We stood like that for a long time until finally I said: “Don’t abandon me”

“I will never abandon you” he said before our lips met in a sweet and soft kiss, like our first kiss.  This action made explode my fireworks and turn wild the zoo of my stomach.

“I have to stop crying, we have to start cleaning the mess in my kitchen now if we don’t want to be late for school.” I said while grabbing the tiny towel beside the sink to clean my tears and turning my way to the kitchen.

“Leave it, I will do it.  Go to the car, I know you will not stand again if you see that paw again, I barely can do it.” He said handing me the keys of his car.

I gave him a smile meaning my thanks for doing such thing for me, and he was right; I will not stand it again if a see that paw.  I began walking my way to his car, I was surprised by staring at the black Challenger.  I think Aaron likes adrenaline… Sexy, my subconscious said.  I turn off the lock of the car and sat in the passenger seat.  The fragrance of mint with an unknown perfume abounded the vehicle, I took a quite long sigh to savor the odor.

After 5 minutes Aaron came out of the house talking through the phone leading his way to his car.  When he sat in the driver seat he gave me my favorite smile and squeezed my thigh.   By feeling the touch of his hand in my skin I felt the zoo getting wild in my stomach, God what is this?
