Chapter: What went down

Rachel’s’ P.O.V.

Dev: Daniel and I went to the same school. One day I was walking home and some mean girls from the 

          School jumped me and left me there. I didn’t know what took place because I was unconscious.              

         When I opened my eyes I saw Diggy *clears throat* I mean Daniel and a group of boys standing 

         over me. I assume they were his friends and that they helped me along with Daniel. The time I          

          spent with Daniel was the t- GCO*

Rach: Girl, Just get to the point

Dev: Okay, Okay. One day he told me he loved me and that he would never hurt me and he would                       

            be there. Me, being the dumbass that I am ,believed this. We went to a party together and my                   

           friend or should I say ex-best friend Baja came along with us. We hung out, had fun, drank and      

          all. Rach you know how I party. Anyways I went to the bathroom and as soon as I opened the door.

          I spotted …” Baja and Daniel “she said with her voice cracking, Making out.I hid behind a wall

           watching.”We can’t tell Dev” he said. The hoe agreed. I came around the corner and they  

           pretended like nothing happened and showed no sign of guilt. I asked him what he was doing in  

            the girls’ bathroom and he made up a lie. It was believable but I could tell that he was lying.

           I slapped him and told him what I saw.I ran out the club and he didn’t even come after me.

            I was depressed for a month. Every week I went to see a psychologist. Do you know how it feels 

           to be lied to by the people I never thought would hurt me?.For a while I was afraid to trust

          They taught me something “Expect the unexpected because you never know who your true friends 

         are”

By now she was full out crying.I patted her back and tried to comfort her.

Rach: Why did you attack him

Dev: He was trying to explain but I got angry. I didn’t know he would fight back and believe me when   

          You and Jawan walked in that was nothing compared to what happened in the beginning.

She lifted her shirt and I couldn’t believe my eyes I saw bruises all over her back. Some of the bruises looked as if something with really sharp claws were dug into her skin. Tiny pieces of broken glass were in her back. I covered my mouth and gasped.

Dev: Is it that bad

Rach: OH yeah

Dev: Take a pic let me see, It hurts like crazy

Rach: okay

I grabbed my phone and took a picture. I then went in the bathroom and got a first aid kit. I used twisters to get out the glass and every time I took out a piece she flinched in pain. When I was done I showed her the pic and she started crying again. I have completely lost my feelings for Diggy. I really felt bad for Devonique. This is going to be a long night.

I was walking past the bathroom door and I heard someone so I opened the door. I didn’t expect to see diggy at all. He looked so sad..He had this cool guy image. I’ve never seen him like this.

Prince: What’s wrong?

Diggy: Nothing I just fucked up. Big Time!

Prince: How?

Diggy: Long story

Prince: I got time

Diggy: It all started a few moths ago. Devonique and I were madly inlove.I promised her I would never 

           Hurt her and I did my best to keep that promise but her stupid best friend kept coming in the kept

           coming in the way. One day wewent to a party and her best friend tagged along. I wasn’t too 

            happy about her bitch of a best friend coming but it made Devonique happy so I decided

            to put up with her. We partied and I was having a good time.I was really drunk and I couldn’t

            control myself. Someting spilled on Baja’s dress and she asked me to help her. Be nice I said to

        myself. I went to the bathroom with her and helped her and out of nowhere she grabbed me and  

       kiss me. As much as I wanted to resist I couldn’t it eventually turned into a make out session.

        I remembered that I told Devonique that I wouldn’t hurt her. I made Baja promise she wouldn’t tell

       Her. Devonique came around the corner shortly. We made up some corny lie not knowing she was   

       Watching. She slapped me and ran out. I was too ashamed to go after her. I know I hurt her badly

       I tried calling her, texting her and even going to her house but that didn’t work. I tried explain to her

       Earlier but she attacked me. I don’t know what got into me and I fought back. I would never hit a girl  

       gosh I‘m so stupid.

      Prince: Dang you really messed up

     Diggy: I know she hates me

      Prince: C’mon she does not hate you

       Diggy: Yeah she does she said it. The night before I took her virginity so she probably thought she  

                   was just a fuck and duck. What should I do?

     Prince: Just give her some time she’ll come around

    Diggy: Thanks man. I owe you

     I left and walked down the hall to the room Devonique and Diggy once shared. I knows right nosy much. I thought it was just a little fight the room was totally trashed. I turned and saw Devonique crying in Rachel’s lap. Damn she looked horrible. I stood and watched with a look of sympathy on my face. Rachel looked up at me relieved.

Rachel: You try talking to her

She got up and I sat down. I looked at her and she raised her eyebrows at me then left. I reached out and pulled Devonique in for a hug. I patted her back gently as she cried into my chest.

Me: Do you wanna talk about it?

She lifted the back of her blouse. I was stunned I know diggy said he fucked up. I never knew he would hurt a girl so badly physically and emotionally. She looked into my eyes as fresh tears built up in hers. A tear fell and I wiped it with my index finger and caressed her cheek. I lay down and she lay on my chest. I kissed her forehead and told her it was going to be okay and we both dozed off into a deep sleep.
