Lydia POV.

" are you even listening to me?"Caroline asked me I rolled my eyes. We were walking down the hall going to my locker.

" not even a little bit " I told her honestly she sighed.

" you have to keep up"she said I rolled my eyes again. I then saw Elena and bonnie. Finally a distraction.

" oh look Caroline there's Elena and bonnie"I told her. She smiled and rushed over to them.

"Elena. Oh, my god. How are you? Oh, it's so good to see you."she said as she hugged elena. I leaned against the locker

"How is she? Is she good?" She asked turning to bonnie. Jesus Christ Caroline she's right there.

"Caroline, I'm right here. And I'm fine. Thank you." Elena said. Caroline looked back at her.

"Really?"she asked

"Yes. Much better."elena said. I shook my head. Why am I friends with these people?

"Oh, you poor thing."Caroline said hugging her again.  Elena patted her back.

"Okay Caroline that's enough let's go"I told her

"Oh! Ok, see you guys later?" She said pulling away. Bonnie mouthed a thank you to me.

" Ok! Bye."she said as I dragged the blonde away.

(Time skip)

Later that night I left the house, driving to pick up bonnie and Caroline.

" have you heard? Tyler and Vicky got back together" Caroline said as she reapplied her lipgloss.

"Caroline"bonnie warned her.

"What? they had a one night stand"she said I quickly parked the car.

" me and Tyler dated for 5 months before that ' one night stand ' " I snapped turning around to look at her,  tears falling down my face.

" so next time you make a comment Caroline, do your research first"I said before getting out of the car and storming into mystic grill, wiping my tears.

Tyler was the first guy I ever dated, he was my first everything. The one night stand was the biggest scandal in mystic falls. After he took my virginity he told everyone that we only had a one night stand, that he barely knew me. Ever since then we'd been enemies.

2 hrs later we all sat at a table talking to elena's new friend Stefan.

"So, you were born in mystic falls?"Caroline asked

"Mm-Hmm. And moved when I was still young."stefan said i was looking down playing with my fingers

"Parents?"bonnie asked

"My parents passed away."he said making me look up to see his eyes on me.

"I'm sorry."the sound of elena's voice made him look at her.

"Any siblings?"she asked

"None that I talk to. I live with my uncle."he said, i pushed my food away, my appetite was ruined.

"So, Stefan, if you're new, then you don't know about the party tomorrow."Caroline said.

"It's a back to school thing at the falls."bonnie tells him.

"Are you going?"he asked looking at elena

"Of course she is."bonnie said.

" yeah I'm just gonna head home"I said standing up and grabbing my stuff.

" someone should walk you"elena said. I looked at her and sighed.

"Elena"Stefan cut me off as he stood up.

"I'll walk you"he said coming around to grab my bag.

"No really its fine"I told him.

"I insist"he said I sighed and took out my keys.

"Okay fine"I said before walking to the door.

"You okay? "He asked me,  I looked at him.

"I'll be fine"I said, unlocking my car door. I turned to Stefan and grabbed my bag from him.

" you are very persistent, I like you"I said before getting in my car and shutting the door.

" good night Stefan"I told him

" wait I didn't get your name"he said placing his hands on the window.
