Maybe it was finally time for the next step. Maybe it was time to be a bigger family, maybe it was time to add that little someone to their lives. Moments of laughter and baby steps, trips of three, cute disasters and learning the hard way.
Seokjin was more than excited, he was looking forward, anxious and eager to hold his little girl. And seeing Jin's excitement left Jungkook nervous and emotional. He wished to see his two princesses together.
The process for it was long and complicated, but the couple knew they would do it all for their baby girl. The judges gave them disgusted looks and the supervisors of every orphanage looked at them with mistrust, but they didn't care. They are strong, and they would be even stronger for their next family member.
This was only the beginning of a new phase, where they would unify as a couple, where they become one, and another one arrives at their hearts.
Time flew slowly, but those two years they fought side by side were worth it, because today, Jin crosses their door with a one-year-old baby in his arms, Jungkook just behind.
Her room was ready, decorated just like a princess room. They left her in her crib, and Jungkook closes the door with one las lingering look.
"I love her, and I love you. I love both of you so much" says Jungkook, hugging Jin by his waist. He laughs with delight.
"I love her too, just as I love you, Kookie".And they go to sleep with indelible smiles plastered on their faces, thinking about their new journey to parenthood and the joy it brings to them. It's one of the best decisions of their lives.
