Number 29 : Facing our biggest fears

My biggest fear was the dark , I absolutely hated it . I never sleep with the lights off because god knows what's in the room with me . Whereas ethan always slept in the dark , he didn't care

Ethans biggest fear was sharks . I absolutely loved sharks . They were fascinating

We both were gonna help the other over come their fear

We arrived at the shark centre and I was getting excited . Sharks were always one of my top three favourite animals when I was a kid . I've swam with sharks a few times in my life so I wasn't scared

We put on our swim suits and got some goggles . We made our way to the rank and swam in

The water looked so beautiful, it was clear blue . In the distance I could see the sharks . I motioned to ethan to follow me since he was behind me

I started to swim and looked back to see he was still it the same position . I swam back to him and grabbed his hand rubbing it slightly for him to know that I'm there for him

I started swimming with him over to where the sharks were . When we were swimming I could see all the rocks and the coral reef

We arrived to where the sharks were and Ethan went behind me again but still held my hand . I turned around to him and hugged him rubbing his back to make him feel less scared and uncomfortable

I swam with him to the shark and placed his hand that was underneath mine on top of the shark . He slowly started rubbing it and smiled . The shark was well behaved , it enjoyed the feeling of it being rubbed . I smiled at ethan and gave him a thumbs up

We went to different sharks and Ethan started getting more comfortable around them

We arrived home and it was time for me to overcome my fear , the dark

We both stripped to our underwear and went onto his bed cuddling with the warm and cosy blanket on top of us . He turned off the lights and I felt something hit my back . I jumped at the feeling but soon heard Ethans soothing voice calming me down while rubbing his hand against my arm

" don't worry y/n , I'm here . I'll be here through the whole night and when you wake up . I love you " ethan said rubbing your sides to calm you down

" I love you too " I said smiling at him then got comfortable in his arms and went to sleep having his words on my mind
