Lyndie gave Drew a harsh blow to his face, the two were outside by the pool. He recoiled and swept his leg, she fell to the ground. He hovered over her in a victory. But, the young woman smirked and kicked him between his legs. The scout winced and fell to the ground. Zane cheered loudly at his girlfriend and she curtsied bashfully. Everyone was training at Margo's mansion with her father. Lyndie giggled when her boyfriend lifted her off of the ground. He placed her down and she shook hands with Drew when he approached her.
"Margo and Zane--you're up," Stephen instructed
All watched in anticipation as the two faced each other. Zane charged first and she quickly grabbed a pistol from her back pocket and pressed it against his chest.
"Bang, I win."
"N-No fair!"
"Sorry." She shrugged. "My house, my rules."
"You tell him, Margie!" Lyndie commented
The pathis was surprised and looked at his beloved with betrayal.
"Sorry, babe. But, female empowerment and all that." She expressed with a wink.
The young man sighed with defeat. "Hm," He looked at Margo, she was celebrating with Drew. "Perhaps I taught you too well, Bruner."
"Perhaps you're right, Treziak." She replied
The sound of car doors alerted them. They were happy to see their guests walk through the gate. Will, Krystal, and Peter were first. Next were Elise, Bailey, Nate, and Shawn. And finally Ben, Truman, and Keira. Others would be arriving later, but there were definitely enough people to set up and celebrate the occasion.

CJ was at home with Brenda and Malcolm. After being unconscious, she somehow awoke and felt refreshed. However, she'd avoided the cabin and Peter altogether. She had decided to leave town next week, after having some more time with her family. The evening had finally set in and her family was packing catering boxes for a last minute party. She didn't understand why anyone would want to have a party at night, but she would support her step-mother no matter what the case. Little Fe was away at her grandparents' for the weekend. Her family sealed the last of the boxes and set out to their destination, they pulled off of the property and drove down the road.
Malcolm pulled up to the estate, it was a mansion. CJ stepped out first when she saw Zane standing there, she was confused.
"You live here?" She asked
He chuckled. "Yeah, right. Much too con-serve for my blood." He hugged her. "Good to see ya."
"Y-You too." She was still puzzled as Malcolm began unloading equipment with Brenda. As if on cue, Liam walked through the door with McKenna and Nate. They carried the boxes inside.
"O...kay." She looked at the pathis suspiciously, he simply wrapped his arm around her neck and escorted her through the gate. Her family followed behind them as they journeyed further.
"Surprise!" Everyone expressed loudly
CJ was shocked. The guests, the boxes, all of this was for her. She knew that it was her birthday, but she was dreading the event. Especially after what happened with Peter at the Cabin, she had hoped to sleep this entire day through. But alas, this was not the way of her friends. Everyone was cheering for her as she stared in marvel. They all applauded and someone covered her eyes from behind. She removed the hands and turned around. She shrieked with excitement when she saw Noelle Amus and Ben smiling at her. CJ hugged them both tightly, she noticed someone noticing her. It was Peter.
Will approached her and took her arm, and guided her to an office chair decorated with gold streamers. Her favorite color. She gladly sat and he wheeled her around to the other side of the pool, he stopped at a large frame under a gold tarp.
Bailey smirked. "Now I can finally say it--happy birthday."
CJ smirked, remembering the first day that Bailey came into her house. The day she gave her saltine crackers and the Veer Formula. Bailey removed the drape, it was a large painting of CJ and her husband.
Bailey pulled out two markers from her back pocket. "In honor of our guests, everyone here will sign their names. You all have until this party's over."
The neonate was deeply touched by this.
Tense and Devin finally walked through the gate, but they were not alone. Callum carried some boxes of champagne, Heidi was carrying a large banner, Bryce was holding a large teddy bear, and Sebastian was being guided by Danielle. CJ hugged her old EveryDyne companion tightly, it had been years since she'd seen him. Keira began with the Happy Birthday song and all joined in as Nate wheeled a large cake on a cart. CJ felt like blushing. Surely she had outgrown this part by now.
