-Belle's POV-

The rest of the walk we waste in silence. After that awkward but honest confession there is a clear tension between us. I can’t help but somehow like it that we have something in common. We both have secrets that we don’t want to tell, to you it might be sad that we have that in common, but it’s just easier when a person understands that the other person doesn’t want to talk about a touchy subject. I really hope that he doesn't ask me again, though. I've never told anyone why I had those problems, and I don't plan to. I lost my best friend because of it and I don't trust anyone so much to tell them, not even London, Paris and Sarah. It’s something that is not worth the talk. I try to push my memories back. Memories are meant to be in the past and they should stay there. At least only the bad ones.

I am brought back to reality when a hand wraps around mine and pulls.

"Come on I want to show you something!" Liam tells me and I follow him in small steps, almost tripping because he is way faster than me. We walk further down in the now dark park and into the woods behind. I look a little bit scared where could he be taking me? The woods don't seem really safe. Liam turns to me and sees the frown on my face.

"Don't worry I am not here to kidnap and rape you." he laughs and I stop abruptly but then smile awkwardly and follow him again. We pass a lot of trees and I don't know where the fuck I am.

"Almost there" he informs me still holding onto my hand. I try to ignore the wave of electricity that floods me because of his touch, but fail miserably. "We're here." He says. I look around twice but find nothing.

"What do you mean we're here. Here's nothing" I look around again and again, nothing.

"You won't find it when you look around, you have to look up" he says and points into the sky. I tilt my head, look in the big gap in the trees and loose my breath for a second. I never saw so many stars so clearly in California.

"Wow." is all I can manage to say with a huge grin on my face. Liam seems satisfied with my reaction and lies down on the grass. I watch him and do the same.

"How did you find this place?" I ask him. He obviously couldn't have sneaked around the trees at night, trying to find a place where you could see the stars so perfectly.

"I needed some time to think once, and I tried to clear my head and went into the woods. I was tired from walking I just laid down and looked into the sky and saw...this." he breaks our eye contact and looks up to the sky again. "Since then I always come here when I need to clear my head or I need some break from the world you know?"

"Yeah I know what you mean. But if this is your save haven to clear your head why did you bring me here?"

"I saw that look on your face and I immediately thought of this place so I decided to bring you here. I have that same expression on my face when I feel the need to come here. You know you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to, but I just want you to know that I am here for you. And if you don't see me around there is always this place you can go to." he smiles at me and I smile back thrown off guard by his words. I look back at the sky and enjoy the moment. This place is beautiful and Liam and I don't break the silence that feels so comfortable.

After what feels like an eternity we stand up and walk back to the cinema to get Liam's car. He drives me back and there is still this comfortable silence. When he pulls into the parking lot if the sorority it's 1 am.

"Thank you really. I..I just...thank you" I laugh nervously.

"Hey no problem it was a pleasure" he says and rests his hand on my thigh. I don't even flinch, but feel the goose bumps rise on my whole body from his soft and warm touch. We sit there for a few seconds loosing ourselves in our eyes.
